Great location. Easy access to beaches. Comfortable beds. Lots of pool toys. We appreciated the beach chairs and ice chests. Enjoyed the brewery in Port Allen. Definitely stop at Costco or Safeway for your food and drinks. Kitchen is well equipped for easy preparation of food. Local offering are sparse. Would stay here again.
AC in the bedrooms but not in the living room or kitchen where it was rather warm. Pool areas were nice, parking is close, lots of beach and pool stuff provided in the unit. The kitchen was well stocked, we had everything we needed!

We loved our stay at the apartment. It is a short walk to multiple beaches and a great jumping-off point for seeing the rest of the island. The apartment itself was spacious and clean with a great kitchen - the Murphy bed made it basically like a three bedroom apartment. It was also very well stocked with household goods and beach supplies. The hosts were very accommodating and responsive. Would highly recommend.
Beautiful spot. Convenient location to the beach. Lots of beach toys and boogie boards. The rooms were beautiful and comfy beds. The pools and jacuzzis were lovely in the evening after beach days. We ended our 2 weeks in Poipu and didn’t really want to leave.
Our condo at Poipu Kai was perfect, and exactly as advertised. The house was stocked with everything you could need - we especially appreciated the beach gear and the cart, which made it easy to walk and take everything you need to Poipu Beach. We also appreciated and used the Kauai guidebooks, board games and poker chips, and the A/C to make it cool while we slept. The location couldn't be better - beaches, restaurants, and shops were all within walking distance. We walked to the beach every evening to see turtles and sunset. The pools on property were excellent. We are all tennis players, so we used the tennis/pickleball facilities. There are fees to use the courts, but staying at Poipu Kai we were able to get a family membership for the week for 60 that included ability to reserve courts, access to join the regular groups (tennis and pickleball open play), and unlimited court time. And the courts were about a 2 minute walk from the condo. This is about the best option you will find on any of the Hawaiian Islands, so if you're in to tennis and pickleball this is the place for you! This was just a bonus on top of everything else offered. We didn't need anything during our stay, but the owner was very responsive and allowed us early check-in since we were arriving to Kauai late morning. 100% would stay here again if we're lucky enough to return to this magical island.
After coming through the tunnel of trees, we found the condo quickly after our turn into the property. We loved the location as it was so convenient to Shipwreck Beach, the Poipu Bay Golf Course, Brennecke’s Beach and Poipu Beach. We saw turtles and monk seals. Traveled to Hanalei Bay and to Waimea Canyon. Visited Koloa and the local shopping and restaurants.
We had a great time at this property. The owners were extremely responsive, accommodating and helpful. The condo is exactly as listed and within walking distance to many beaches. This property is clean and has everything you could want. We would definitely recommend staying here!
The location is so convenient, and there are lots of little added touches that make the place so comfortable.
Loved this property. The property is very nice and well kept. Good beds and quiet neighbors. About a 10 minute walk to Poipu Beach which we walked every day. They have most everything you need for the beach. Strongly recommend.
Condo is well situated, has parking for two cars, pool is nearby and lovely walk to the beach through a grassy green belt. Hosts provide all the gear one could need for beach, snorkeling, tennis, bathroom supplies and laundry supplies. Full kitchen is well appointed. Lanais were lovely to sit for coffee and private time. Unfortunately the stand alone air conditioners in each bedroom are loud, and while they cool the bedrooms, they do not sufficiently cool or dry the entire unit as was advertised.
A wonderful spot to stay. Felt so close to everything we needed in the south and in Poipu. Loved that we could walk a lot of places. Very spacious apartment. Loved having access to AC and beach toys. We also enjoyed the pool and hot tub. Would definitely stay again! Only feedback would be that it would be really nice for an apartment so close to the beach to have wood/laminate floors vs carpet especially with the beach toy cupboard all the way at the back of the unit on the lanai.

We enjoyed our stay. Condo is as described. Loved walking to Grand Hyatt /Shipwreck Beach in the morning. It was helpful to have a washer and dryer. The Murphy Bed was a hit with our 12 year old son.
2 BR condo is spacious, clean, convenient and has everything you need for the beach&snorkeling. 3 lanais were nice and quiet&secluded. Kitchen is fully stocked and we cooked most every day. Bathrooms had soap, shampoo, towels, toilet paper. The comdo is so well supplied they had a beach high enough for me
We enjoyed our 3 nights at this property. Loved walking the greenbelt to see the resting sea turtles from this home. It added to our enjoyment the fully stocked beach closet. I borrowed a chair for the beach one day. It was nice to have air conditioning in the bedrooms and have access to a Murphy bed.
We loved staying at this condo this December. It was perfect for our five adults and one toddler. It’s a good size with plenty of space for everyone. The AC and fans in the bedrooms worked well to cool the bedrooms off. The rest of the condo has fans and good air flow so we were comfortable. The location was easy walk to the beach and we enjoyed the pools and hot tubs on the property. We would stay again.
Fabulous property- perfect location and short walk to the beach. Watched the turtles swim into the shore and leave again in the morning. Thank you so much- definitely will rent here again. We had to use all beds and I am impressed by how comfy that Murphy bed was too! Air conditioner units in both rooms kept the whole unit cool for sleeping.
Our stay in Poipu was very nice. The location was excellent and we loved that we had access to so many beach accessories ready for use, especially the wagon. The sliding door locks were not very functional and being on the first floor, it was somewhat concerning even using the door blocks that were provided. We loved the newly remodeled bathrooms.
My husband and I stayed here for our 9-day trip, the first vacation we’ve taken just for us in 14 years! We wanted a quiet, comfortable place to call home during our trip. It was important to us to have AC, a full kitchen, and a resort experience. The location couldn’t have been better, with the beach a 10 minute walk away and a pool basically right outside the door. We rented a car so we could easily see the whole island, but there are restaurants in walking distance. The patios were perfect for morning coffee. The AC was ice cold and the furniture was comfortable. We had an excellent stay and found the hosts to be great communicators and very gracious about our requested late checkout. When we return to Kauai, we will definitely book here again!
We loved the condo! Short walk to the beach, had tons of swimming and beach gear. The whole place was spotless! My only complaint is that we were walked in on by the person cleaning the condo at checkout time. As a family with kids we were running a few minutes late and at exactly 10 o' clock the door opened without a knock by the cleaning person. I would stay here again dispite our surprise at checkout lol.
This property is very clean and had many amenities. The washer and dryer in the condo was a big plus.
The downside was the we could not stay longer.
Quick 3 night stay from Oahu…enjoyed our location of the place. Great food at Joe’s pub and close walking access to the beach. We definitely will come back!
We will definitely stay here again! The location is perfect, a 5 minute walk to the beach with everything you need to enjoy yourself from towels to boogie boards to snorkels, chairs, and beach toys plus a wagon to pull it all.
The three lanais are wonderful for sitting out at night or anytime you're in the condo.
The condo was exactly as advertised with bone chilling air conditioners in the bedrooms and fully stocked kitchen and bathroom/showers.
I've actually never stayed in of Vrbo that was as fully stocked. The owner even put frozen juice Popsicles and a bag of ice in the freezer.
The parking was no issue and there was even visitor parking if the second couple had their own rental, so when assigned parking space and one visitor space.
The pools were very nice and uncrowded.
There were no noisy neighbors.
I liked the proximity to Kalapaki Joes and the short walk to the beach and Poipu Park for sunsets..
We had a great stay in this lovely property. Four adults and one infant stayed for a full week. The property was clean, well maintained, and very close to beaches. We were having problems with the VRBO Website and couldn’t access the entry directions. We reachied out to the hosts and they were very gracious in returning our call promptly. When we come back to Kauai we will try to book this property again!

All of the positive reviews of this property were 100% correct. It was clean, comfortable, spacious, and the owners have put a lot of thought and effort into providing everything one could possibly need during a stay. It was an easy 10 minute walk down to the beach and to a couple of casual eating places. After a busy day out, it really felt like we were “coming home”, which you could never say about a hotel room.
We will definitely stay here again when we return to Kauai.
