STUNNING OCEANFRONT PENTHOUSE 2Bd/2Ba *Fully Renovated, Pool * Poipu Palms Koloa

Amazing condo right on the coast of Poipu. The pool was lovely and we enjoyed utilizing the gas grills in the evenings. The public trail nearby was fabulous for sunset and morning walks along the coast, and Poipu was a convenient short walk as well. We enjoyed breakfast on the balcony and whale watching every morning! This location had all the convenient kitchen, bathroom, and miscellaneous (Binoculars, sunscreen, etc.) that we could've asked for. Can't wait to stay here again in the future!

We loved our stay. We enjoyed being about equal walking distance between Poipu and Shipwreck beaches. We really enjoyed whale watching from our balcony via binoculars. I think we saw whale activity almost every day including a couple of breaches. We hope to return next year!

Location is ideal and the condo is postcard perfect. Once you step through the front door, you know you’re on vacation. The space is bright, spotless, and the set up was perfect for 3 adults. There are books, games and puzzles available plus lots of equipment for a day at the beach. The lanai is the ahhhmazing. Morning coffee with ocean breezes, evenings with watercolor sunsets. Cannot not say enough about how wonderful our stay was.

A gorgeous unit with a great view, just as pictured. Doug and Candy were wonderful, very communicative and accommodating to all our needs. We would definitely rent this place again. Mahalo for your hospitality!

This penthouse was lovely!! Very well stocked, very clean, and the best view!! We could easily walk to the Grand Hyatt along a pathway right on the ocean. We also walked to Poipu Beach which we loved!! Excellent snorkeling, beautiful beach and sea turtles every day! It was the perfect location to many sites and excursions! Book this VRBO and you won’t regret it!!

Has everything needed for a great stay and a day at the beach including 4 chairs and a very nice beach umbrella.

This is a great location and the deck and pool by the water were nice to have. We did a spectacular half day hike along the water right from Poipu Palms! The owner was very responsive and easy to work with. The place needed a good Spring cleaning, other than that it was wonderful and we would stay there again. One does need to be able to navigate a short hill and stairs. Not an issue for us. Overall, a nice choice for a stay in Koloa.

Great views and location. Made use of the pool, the deck, the beach gear, kitchen, etc. Very cute and comfortable. Would definitely stay here again.

Could not have asked for a better place to stay in Poipu! Incredible ocean views. Was amazing to grill and sit out right by the ocean. Very clean and central location to beaches, restaurants, shops.

Always great to stay here. The building itself with only 12 units is quiet and always room at the pool. As close to the water as you can get and located close to anything you need.the unit is very nice with a great Lanai

The views and ocean breeze through the home are amazing! Walking distance to Poipu beach to marvel at the green sea turtles and monk seals that come ashore to rest. Sea turtles also swimming right in front of the condo area. Great location to tour both the east, west, and north side of the island. Quiet condo location, easy to rest and relax. We spent a ton of time just sitting on the deck overlooking the ocean, enjoying the views and each others company.

The property location is beautiful, close to beaches, shopping and the view is amazing. We saw pods of dolphins, and a whale from the deck! Not having AC is no issue and actually preferred by me, the winds were perfect to keep us cool. The living area is a tad small for 4 adults to hang out, one person usually spilled over to the bedroom off the living room, but fine for our short 4 day stay. Would definitely recommend.

The property was gorgeous. The place was awesome. I can’t say enough about how great it was. I highly recommend going there. I hope I get to go again.

My family just enjoyed six wonderful nights at this condo. Location is amazing. We were able to walk to many local beaches. Condo had an impressive view of the ocean where we were able to see sea turtles, whales and dolphins daily. Hosts were very quick to respond and the check in process was seamless. Highly recommend this condo!!

An amazing vacation that was made even better by great hosts. Very communicative. The space was spotless and perfectly appointed. Amazing views of the ocean. We even saw some turtles swimming by. The balcony is set up just right to take in the sunrise and see more stars than we thought existed. And the breezes were wonderful!! The pool was the perfect size and very clean. We were close enough to everything we wanted to do. But, also just far enough to enjoy the sights and sounds of nature. Thank you for such a fantastic place to enjoy our favorite island:

The condo has a beautiful ocean view, and is walking distance to sandy beaches. The only negative is that there isn't a lot of privacy within the unit because all the interior doors are slatted, not solid. However, this is good for air flow and to get a cross breeze.

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Unit was clean, beautifully decorated and exactly as advertised. The only issue we had was "ant problem" in the kitchen (one also found in the main bedroom". Fortunately, the owners left a can of Raid under the sink and we were able to stay on top of them. We would definitely return.

It is a great location, with beautiful views. We appreciated access to their beach chairs and toys. Shipwreck Beach and Poipu Beach a short drive away. We would definitely recommend staying here.

The condo was perfect for us. Loved the fact that it was in a small complex / unit and very private. Great view. Also proximity to walking path was a huge plus. We were on third floor and the view was awesome but you do have stairs to carry for suitcases. No big deal if you don't have mobility issues. We will rebook in future

Our stay here was great. The property owners were highly communicative and responsive and clearly put effort into creating a lovely stay. All of the necessities were well stocked (kitchen items, shampoo/conditioner, beach towels, beach chairs and other beach equipment, etc.). The property is located within walking distance of two different beach areas and was within an easy drive to all of our planned activities. The large deck overlooking the ocean was a treat every morning and evening. Recommend!

We really enjoyed our stay in Kauai. This place has a well stocked kitchen, great cross breeze through the bedrooms for sound sleeping and a lovely ocean view. We were very comfortable the entire week and would stay here again! Owners even sent us a few items that we left behind and were very quick to respond. Thumbs up for this place!

We stayed at the Poipu Penthouse for two weeks. It is a lovely condo with pleasing decor, furnished very nicely. The beds were very comfortable. We were pleased with the host welcome gifts and really loved having a keurig for our morning coffee. The highlight was the gorgeous view overlooking a deck and pool and amazing ocean views. We saw so many whales and dolphins during our stay!! The neighborhood was wonderful for walking. If I have any caution for this property it is to consider that it is on a busy street and very noisy when trying to sleep. While that did bother our ability to sleep, it was worth it for the wonderful views!

This condo is in a good location near Poipu Beach, oceanfront property without beach access. Balcony is a great place to enjoy your morning coffee or afternoon cocktail. Condo is well-equipped with a full kitchen, towels, beach chairs, etc. Two bedrooms with attached bathrooms works well for two couples or a family of four. There is a nice breeze that comes off the ocean, but the lack of air conditioning was an issue with the humidity. Pool had some debris in the bottom of it from wind and was not cleaned until our last day there. There is some outside noise with the windows open all night. Condo is showing some wear and could use a little TLC. Overall, it was a good( not great) place to stay.

Wow! What a beautiful place— the location, the space, and the views were top notch. And the check-in/out experience was so easy! We also appreciated the conveniences of having basic necessities stocked for us upon arrival such as dish soap, hand soap, TP, paper towels, coffee, etc. These details made a difference when we arrived late after a long flight. The space is designed well and tastefully decorated. Views of the ocean are fantastic from inside and outside— we saw whales almost every morning. Overall, we highly recommend!

Doug is a Superhost and very accommodating. The condo is equipped with everything you need, ocean view, clean and perfect for 2 couple's. The location was excellent for all the daily excursions.

We very much enjoyed our stay at Poipu Palms. Communication with Doug was excellent prior and during our stay. The location is great - a quiet area with restaurants and beaches an easy walk away. Perfect for a low-key relaxing week.

First, I’m not usually a reviewer but this place was too amazing not to share with everyone! From the moment we booked it communication was excellent. We already knew from visiting Kauai before that this property was the BEST location and it was, tucked right in the middle of our 4 favorite beaches…Walking distance to everything! And Last but certainly not least the penthouse itself was the most beautiful place I think we’ve ever stayed and we stay at beautiful places. This place just checks all the boxes, LOCATION LOCATION LOCATION, it’s beautiful, it has everything inside of it you could think of…Truly every convenience they had it. Possibly my favorite part was the breezes that circulate through this place. It’s wall to wall windows with a cool breeze around the clock. And I need to just take a second to note the little things that make a BIG difference on a vacation - things like the silky soft bedding, was beyond any vacation rental we’ve stayed at, - it was like staying in a five star hotel, with all the fun beach toys, stainless steal pots and pans, an airfryer, beautiful dishes, HUGE washer and dryer - things that made being away with my family easy and extra special!! Everything was so above and beyond in this place!!! Lastly the lanai was just magnificent with truly the most gorgeous sunsets I’ve ever seen! We had a few questions that came up and the owner was impressively quick with getting back to us. We just got home and are already looking to rebook!

My family enjoyed our stay at this condo and only wish it could have been longer. The ocean view from the balcony is beautiful. We enjoyed watching sea turtles swim by during the day and the gorgeous sun sets. The location is great with nice beaches and restaurants near by. The owners provide excellent communication and service. We hope to return someday for a longer stay!

We had a lovely stay. Well appointed condo. Unfortunately we had some very stormy weather when we first arrived. We did cook a couple of dinners there. The kitchen has everything you need (although we couldn’t figure out the exhaust fan). The deck slopes a bit but great views. This is a convenient location. There is a closet with boogie boards, snorkeling gear, everything you need for a beach trip. The stairs didn’t bother me, I liked the view. Will definitely be back!
