Fantastic location. We enjoyed watching surfers (and turtles) everyone morning and afternoon. Walking distance to shops, restaurants, beach and Spouting Horn. Easy drive to hiking, Port Allen marina and other beaches. Unit itself is a little dated but had everything we needed for a super chill vacation, which is why we come to Kauai.

The condo was very clean, well stocked, all the necessary kitchen items were available for cooking our meals. AC worked great. Grounds between condo and ocean were immaculate. The location is great; right on the ocean, great snorkeling. Wonderful shave ice place right across the street.
We stayed here three nights in January 2025. The property was perfect. Location was awesome ilInstructions for check in/out were great. Bring your binoculars to view the whales and everadvertised.
We had a great time again this year. Having the Athletic Club available was a big hit with our family. Thanks!
Condo is right on the ocean. We enjoyed sitting in the patio, drinking coffee and watching sea turtles in the ocean each morning. Condo is spacious and well laid out.

My wife and I had an amazing time staying at Kuhio Shores for our 2nd trip to Kauai! We love the Poipu and Koloa area. It is near to so many beaches, restrooms, and stores for shopping! Our condo was very clean and it was ready with everything we could need including all dishes and alto chairs for the beach. Our favorite part, and the part we will miss the most, is waking up and heading right out to the porch that is not even 10 feet from the beautiful ocean. We could sit out there for hours! We’ve already decided we want to come back and stay at this location again next time! Great place!!
This property is absolutely stunning. The location could not be more perfect. A fantastic snorkeling spot is just steps away, so my husband and I went multiple times each day. The property was extremely clean and comfortable. The A/C works well and was a perk. The owner was so friendly and easy to communicate with. I would recommend this property 1000%!
Great location and view in Poipu. Every day we would enjoy breakfast watching the ocean waves, and in the evening walk outside and see the sunset. The place is decently spacious, and comes with convenient amenities such as beach chairs and umbrella. On the days we were there, they were cutting some trees and blocked off some parking spaces, which was annoying, but still able to get the last 1-2 spots for parking. Would likely stay there again.

Amazing rental by amazing people. All glass back wall so you have a full view of the beautiful ocean. We were able to catch sunrise, sunset, and even the Milky Way all from the lanai. We both had to work half the day, but when your office view was this, all was good. Super clean and updated condo and furnishings. Very comfortable bed with a view to the ocean. We stayed in an other corporate owned unit here and this unit shows the personal care and beautiful decorative touch. I can't say enough about what a gracious host John was. When he found out (last-minute by the company!) that construction had to be done at the condoplex where the booking is, he offered us various accommodations to help us. We ended up staying in this condo anyway because of the pictures. We were not at all disappointed as we had beautiful views and a short walk to the beach. The place was very comforting and homely, although we ended up spending most of our time out and about. Gracious host. Clean space. Beautiful location. Truly a top-tier experience. Highly recommend.
This is a great condo and the hosts really made us feel welcome! We especially enjoyed watching the sea turtles right outside the back door. We would recommend this place to everyone.
Wonderful location on the south shore of kauai. Constant surfers nearby made for a nice backdrop off the lanai and the owner is super chill. Close enough to everything on Kauai but would make for a great 2-3 day escape as well.
Exactly as advertised and better.
First time we have had the pleasure to find so many of the things we needed in place when we walked in the door. All the toys that are hard to pack like beach chairs and umbrellas, and the things we alway seem to have to buy and leave behind like salt and dish soap.
Just like the owner said it is a "home" not a hotel, and each guest seems to understand and use what they need, and add a little to the supplies for the next family.
Wonderful concept - and so rare these days.
Highly recommend and can not wait to come back and stay again.
Oh, and visit Jay at the fruit stand across the street once a day. He is super nice and has the best papayas "farm fresh" for your breakfast.

Very comfortable and clean unit on ground floor. Ocean only 30 feet from the lanai. Great view of sunsets from grass lawn in front of unit. Trade winds and ceiling fans kept us comfortable. Perfect place to relax. Owner communications were clear and helpful. Would definitely stay here again.
This was a once in a lifetime experience! This property is 100% as advertised and more. The moment we opened the the door to walking out to see the spectacular view of the ocean that was 20ft from our patio. This was the first time for my wife to visit Hawaii and could not stop talking about the property. We did tour around the island and we didn’t see any properties near the ocean like this one. John was very accommodating and easily accessible for any of our questions. If you are looking for a place to stay your search ends here. We will cherish our memories and look forward to our next visit!
