Great location, close to beach and walking distance to restaurants. Has laundry and plenty of beach chairs and toys. One side lacks an oven so if you aren't renting both sides this could be a problem. One side had a main room AC not working, though a portable one was brought over late in the stay. The VRBO listing needs to be updated because futons are not available in the master bedroom on the B side. The pull out couches lack comfortable mattresses. However, it was beautiful to wake up to the ocean everyday!
We had a wonderful stay on Kauai! The place was perfect for our family/friends. It was a little outdated but for being by the ocean and beach, it was expected. Fun time!

Arrived about a half hour after check in time. Suzanne and cleaning crew were still there finishing up. Units smelled very strong of Lysol and cleaning solutions.
After the family arrived (8 total), we found that all our feet and socks were blackened by the dirty floors. We all took off shoes when entering! We commenced to clean the floors with Swifters that were in the closets, so that helped.
Overall the units were clean but somewhat dated. Needed new paint and some drywall fixing from past leaks.
The upper bedrooms were roomy but disappointing since there were no blinds on the large windows, so no blocking of afternoon sun and morning light.
The bedroom and bath windows were glass louvers from the 60's that did not close properly. Therefore the bathrooms were always hot, and could hear everything from outside. Airplanes, roosters, LOL. We slept with eye blinds and ear plugs as needed.
Kitchen appliances were updated and had newer comfortable furniture downstairs. Had all the cooking utensils needed. Even a rice cooker!
Had ample beach toys in closets which were a plus. Also left a few others for the next guests!
We stayed a couple days at the Royal Sonesta before checking in, and found that using their amenities during the condo stay was no problem.
We enjoyed our stay and the location near restaurants and shopping. Dukes has great food and drinks, and Sonesta pool bar had happy hour every day that was a plus.
Overall, would stay here again in beautiful Kauai!
Overall the property was beautiful- beautiful views and easy access to the beach. The flexibility of choosing multiple units worked for our larger party. The condo was stocked with supplies for both the beach and the unit. The location was great- central to the island, close to the airport. There was some general wear and tear that needed repair. We would return without question in the future.

This was the perfect place to stay for our family vacation. With four bedrooms and two pull out couches, it slept the 10 of us easily. Plenty of room for us to be all together and at the same time have our own space. Loved having two kitchens and the four bathrooms were a lifesaver. We found the unit spotlessly clean and we had all the amenities required to cook our own meals. The location is perfect, views to the bay awesome, plenty of parking, trash picked up daily. Communication easy, as was check-in and check-out. If you have a large group as we did, we highly recommend this location.
Roomy and comfortable. We loved sitting on the deck watching the surfers. We even caught a rainbow on morning after a short rain shower. Beautiful!

The house is located with a beautiful view of the bay. The access to the beach is easy and an enjoyable walk. There were 4 couples and a baby on our trip and the house is set up perfectly for our needs.

Communication A+. Location is easy from Lihue airport, with that said it’s a busy airway with tourist helicopters all day and flights alike. Location could use a deep clean. Which I understand it’s hard with quick turnaround. Had unit A/B which worked out as one the washers didn’t work as well as it didn’t have full oven. No kettles in either. Great home base. Sunsets amazing.

It was a lovely place with great space. Accommodated our family of 11. View was amazing and beach access easy to get to.
Beds were comfortable even the sofa beds!

Air conditioning didn't work in condo A. Nice area with the bay. The pool at the Royal Sonesta was not available with the fee paid.. You could hear airport from this property.

We loved staying at Cottage 16AB. The houses were beautiful and well furnished. The balconies were big with a gorgeous view. The location was perfect - central for visiting the whole island. Susanne was very helpful and always quick to respond. The only disappointment was that we were not given access to Marriott pool because of COVID restrictions. I would highly recommend staying here and hope to return soon!
