If you want to tandem parachute or ride in glider planes, Dillingham Airport is ten minutes away. For surfers, try " Hammerheads" in front of the house, or dozens of neighborhood breaks which are rarely crowded. My family and I rented this home for 10 days. The location is great ~ husband could fish everyday and caught several. Turtles frequented the water in front of the house. The house, itself, needs a lot of work: Sofas are worn out and need replaced. Utensils in kitchen left a lot to be desired - we purchased a set of frying pans so we could cook. There was broken glass on the kitchen floor when we checked in; light bulbs were burned out; laundry was still in washer and dryer. Linens and towels are well worn and need replaced. Hot water was not available 24/7. Some kitchen appliances needed cleaned prior to use. This home needs some loving care and a complete cleaning prior to being offered on this website. We were so looking forward to our vacation and were disappointed with the home; not the location.

Stayed 3/23/11 to 3/30/11 House was clean and well stocked with the needed amenities, Greg was very helpful and accomadating. Beach was only 50 ft from deck. Would reccomend this rental to anyone

I would definitely recomment this house for anyone looking for an oceanfront property to rent on the North Shore. The beach was right outside the back door - sleep to the sound of waves in the backyard. A portable crib was available for my granddaughter - very child friendly. It was clean and the owner lived two doors down - very convenient. Very close to Haleiwa and other north shore areas. I would definitely rent it again.
