All was great to include cleanliness and ease location. Greatly located giving us easy access to many of the things we desired to do while here. Lack of A/C was only draw back but eventually cooled enough n evenings to sleep with all windows and doors opened.
Property and unit were very nice. Unfortunately we had people upstairs that liked to move the furniture at odd hours and it sounded like a bowling ball.
The view on the lanai is great with gorgeous sunset views. The condo is very spacious but you will spend most of the time on the lanai. Easy check in process with a lot of communication from Kevin. Like others say the furniture is a little dated and the patio doors have seen better days but overall this is a great location and I would definitely stay here again.
We really enjoyed the condo and the grounds at the club. The location was quiet and away from the hustle of Kona but close enough to amenities and activities. One thing we weren’t expecting was the lack of air conditioning in the unit. For the most part it was no issue as there were lots of fans and a beautiful breeze, but it did get quite humid. The condo is also showing its age quite a bit with rickety screens and doors. We loved it though and lived out on the lanai. We’d happily go back.
Our family had visited the Big Island 21 years ago and loved the experience then. We love the quiet laid back experience of sitting on the lanai looking at the ocean. The facilities are great and the shopping center is within walking distance while Kailua is a short drive. Snorkeling at the beach is also a quick walk as well.
Perfect location and accommodations. 5-day visit from San Diego with our UCSB Junior on her spring break. Condo had everything we needed, and the view is better than the photos. Comfy beds, sound of the ocean from both bedrooms, perfect lanai, groceries, coffee, tavern with music all in walking (not hearing) distance. Magic beach was our preferred location - lots of turtles. Very convenient for manta ray excursion, all-day snorkel, and sunset sail. Sad that we had to leave. We will definitely rent again.
Great location, kitchen well stocked, condo was as presented. Quiet unit. Extra large lanai. On the ocean and wonderful views
We stayed in the condo for the month of February. It is well stocked and we were very comfortable. Watching whales from the lanai is our favorite thing to do!
Perfect place for our family vacation- we'll be back!
The property was in a good location and amenities all good. The actual condo is right on the ocean front- no peaceful lapping waves, loud crashing waves for 3 days. Surf so strong that it shook the condo! Not sure if that’s a regular occurrence or more just January weather. The condo was well stocked but run down and needs paint and new carpet, the carpet was filthy. -but can’t beat the view.
This condo is very well appointed and had everything we needed. The lanai is absolutely spectacular and aside from sleeping, we spent virtually all of our time in the unit on the lanai. The complex itself is also very nice with a large pool kept at a perfect temperature. We also enjoyed playing tennis and pickle ball.
We had a great stay and couldn't get over the incredible views from the lanai during breakfasts and especially sunsets when we weren't at the beach. The beds were comfortable and the unit was stocked well enough for our needs. If you plan to spend afternoons at the property it will likely be too warm for you without air conditioning. However, it cools down nicely in the evenings and with fans we slept very well. You can hear guests upstairs, but we didn't find that to be a nuisance that took away from our stay.
The unit is very clean, but the finishes are getting a bit tired (guessing most are from the original build) so don't expect to be blown away by the unit itself. We were mostly there during the night only, so not really an issue for us, but my expectations going in were that it would be a bit nicer overall. I still wouldn't hesitate to stay here again.
The facility is very nice. My kids loved the pool and there were tennis/pickleball courts readily available if you have enough bodies to play. I opted to play pickleball at the Houla Paddle Club just down the road which had a variety of open play sessions. We loved having Magic Sands beach just down the road which had great waves and easy parking. Plenty of beautiful white sandy beaches within an hour to the north as well that we really enjoyed with Kua Bay being our favorite.
Wonderful condo beautifully maintained and well equipped in all respects from a kitchen that had everything you would ever need to beach equipment from chairs, umbrella, snorkeling equipment and kids toys.
The location was perfect - in a lovely area near a shopping centre, fun beach 20 minutes from downtown Kailea-Kona. Above all a beautiful lanai with a view to die for.
Overall it was a good experience the view is amazing oceanfront with beautiful mornings and sunsets. The kitchen was well stocked so if you enjoy cooking you'll have everything you need. Dishwasher and in unit washer and dryer are definitely a plus I wish we had A/C.. The only complaint I have is the tenant above us was a stomper and was dragging the furniture around and slamming doors we could hear everything so we were awakened at 530am and it went on pass 11pm at night. It is an older building so the sound proofing or installation isn't the best. Kevin tried to help us but it was out of his control.
This condominium was perfect for our family vacation. Clean and comfortable, all the supplies and beach gear we needed. It is close to the stores and the pool and courts were great to have. Sunsets from the lanai were perfect!! We would stay here again.
The condo was laid out perfectly, balcony, lanai overlooking the ocean, fully updated kitchen with all you need to cook in some nights (we stayed 2 weeks). Pool was lovely, located close to stores and to Kona Town. 2 full bathrooms, a must with kids. A fabulous time was had by all. Mahalo
Great location! Unit was very clean and had everything we needed during our stay.
Overall this property is amazing. We really enjoyed ourselves and would definitely stay here again. Be warned, this is CLOSE to the water (and wave action) so if you are a light sleeper, you may find the waves & ocean sounds to be too loud. We love that, so it wasn’t an issue for us. Our main complaint was with the initial guests above us for the first couple days of our stay. They had an unruly child with them (temper tantrums) and he would stomp and wail and he really made things pretty unpleasant for us the first couple of nights. This obviously isn’t the fault of this place in particular, but if the guest(s) above you aren’t cognizant of their foot noise and furniture moving noises, it could prove very frustrating. But again, overall this place is fantastic. If you’re looking for an oceanfront stay that is still on Ali’i Drive, but not as close to the action and traffic I that can occur closer to Kailua-Kona, this is a great option for you.
Beautiful view. Great location. Comfortable beds.
Very nice. Stocked with everything to get started. Very clean. Beautiful views. Whales spotted every day. Property manager was very helpful. Would definately stay again!
We spent six nights there Jan/Feb and had a great time. The views from the lanai were amazing. We were able to see dozens of whales in the mornings and evenings from the lanai. The condo itself was satisfactory for our needs. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything you would need to prepare a meal and there is a grocery store across the street. It resides in a gated community so we felt safe, and you have a designated parking space so you never have to worry about parking. The condo itself does not have AC but we never really needed it. With the windows open and fans running it maintained a comfortable temperature. I enjoyed the sounds of the crashing waves at night which really helped me sleep. Beach gear(chairs, towels, snorkels, masks, etc) were included as well. We did notice a little bit of noise from people walking around in the room above us but only during the day. There is a pool and tennis courts on the property too. Overall it was a great experience and I would stay there again.
Hawaii is considered to be paradise by many and in this instance it certainly was. The condo was lovely. It was roomy, well appointed and it had everything that we could have asked for, right down to quality snorkels and lots of pool noodles. The beds were comfortable, the linens were good quality and the kitchen had absolutely everything that we could have ever wanted. But, best of all was the lanai. The condo sits right on the ocean. The views as seen through the well placed palm trees were gorgeous. We ate all of our dinners out there, relaxed on the chaise lounges and spotted whales spouting in the distance.
The condo complex is lovely with well kept grounds, beautiful flowers and a large and inviting pool. The only thing missing was a hot tub.
The location in Keauhou is perfect. It is walking distance to the shopping center with a Long’s Drugs, a KTA supermarket, a number of places to eat and even a movie theater. When staying at this condo, you are close enough to Kailua-Kona without being in the middle of all of the congestion.
We have stayed in other condos in this complex but this was the very nicest of all of them.
