Fantastic stay from start to finish. The location provides easy access to either side of the island, the waterfront view from the condo is as good as you can get with calming wave noise, and the unit is well appointed and very clean. Couldn’t have had a better stay in Kauai.
Overall, we enjoyed our stay here but we had a few issues. The location is great for exploring the entire island as it’s in the middle. It was nice to walk to the swimmable area of the beach and we were in the pool everyday. The view is unbeatable. We managed without air conditioning because of the breeze. The negatives we encountered was mold being on the tapestry, coasters, and blinds. Clearly Hawai’i is a humid environment but those items need to be replaced. We thought the entire place needs a deep clean, things like side tables or the fans looked like they haven’t been dusted in a while. I was disappointed by the items provided for the beach. One of the chairs was broken and the other was heavily rusted. The cooler bag was broken with someone’s swimsuit hygienic liner in it. We ended up buying a new one to leave at the location. I don’t think we would come back to this spot but agreed it had value as a place to stay if the above things are addressed. I attempted to send a private message during our stay about the mold concerns via VRBO and did not get a response.
Great location, no a/c but when the trades were blowing it was ok, a few days with no winds and it got a little warm, great views of the ocean, quiet location
This property was more than expected. The view was absolutely beautiful and it was close to everything. Would love to stay again.
What an amazing location! The beach was just across the lawn just beyond the walking path that spans the length of Lydgate Park. We went for walks on the beach every morning. My son fished right from the beach and caught bonefish and Jack fish among others. The walk to Lydgate Beach park was just 5 mins, where we enjoyed swimming and snorkeling. And just beyond we went to Mama Hune’s for cocktails. The location gave us great access to Waimea Canyon, Farmers Market, Poipu, Coconut Marketplace and the Wailua River. Our adult kids enjoyed a kayak / hike to the waterfalls along the river. A special shout out to the Lava Lava Beach Club, where we enjoyed multiple meals in a beautiful setting on the beach with live music.
Our family of four adults stayed in May 2025 and really enjoyed the location—the view can’t be beat. The beds were comfortable and with the sea breeze air conditioning wasn’t needed. The outdoor chest has beach chairs, umbrella, toys and even a cooler. Living near saltwater ourselves we know how harsh it is, some things are starting to show their age but it didn’t take away from the charm of the rental. We would happily spend another week here.

We were very, very happy with the rental. The beach view was stunning, the unit was lovely and very well outfitted, and the location was convenient for exploring all parts of the island. We were impressed with communications with the owner. We took advantage of the walking path to the nearby beach with swimming ponds and the other beach areas right by the complex most every day, while also exploring some other part of the island each day. We would definitely rent this unit again if we return to Kauai.
Would definitely stay here again! The Condo was in a perfect location. View of the ocean and beach were amazing! Very spacious. Rooms were perfect. Sitting on the balcony and listening to the ocean and watching the sun come up was breathtaking. This was our first time on Kauai. Such a beautiful Island! We loved the place. ..... than this 2-bedroom Gem!!This is our second time in Kauai, and between our first 2-week trip here a few years back and this one, along with much travel around the island on both occasions, you simply cannot beat the location of so called Coconut Coast while staying on the island of Kauai!!(that is for starters) The location of the resort itself and then then the location of the 2-bedroom unit within that resort simply cannot be beat.This unit is, and will continue to be in high demand, and if availability happens to come your way, grab it!Did someone say Private Beach!! OK - maybe a slight exaggeration; but not far off. Walk with your coffee across the beautiful landscaped grounds to a spectacular strip of beach that runs as far as the eye can see and enjoy the sounds of the ocean waves as you relax and park all of your worries back home.Or, if you are a runner (as I am), enjoy a daily barefoot run on the packed sand from the waves, whether it be at high tide or low, or anytime in between. How peaceful is that?? Now, even though this beach stretches for miles to the south, the ideal running on the packed stuff is a 3 km strip out and 3 km back, giving you an incredible 6 km outing. I'm telling you - you practically own the beach! On one occasion, I did have to run around a Monk Seal sunning itself on the beach, but other than that just the ocean and the peacefulness around you to enjoy while on your walk or run.Chad is a top notch host! Grab this place!

They were working on the path in front suo lots of workers,loud machines, but they didn't start till after 8 and shut down around 3

Was a fantastic property only minutes from the airport with a long sandy beach just steps away from the door. We were a family of four and found the location to be central for excursions across the island.
Our family stayed for a week. The condo was spotless, super comfortable and had the most amazing view of the ocean. We started our day off doing a new adventure and ended in the pool every afternoon. We met some wonderful neighbors at the pool! The condo was well stocked with all kitchen amenities so we cooked dinner everyday. The breeze kept the condo cool and comfortable and even at times, chilly! We had the best time and would definitely rebook this condo!

We had a great time staying in Kaha Lani! The view from the balconies are amazing and I loved waking up looking at the sunrise over the ocean!
Everything else in the property was great too - fully stocked kitchen, enough space for everyone, TV entertainment, the pool and the BBQ. Love it!
Kaha Lani was the perfect location for our first visit to Kauai. My husband and I wanted a quiet condo as close to the ocean as possible and away from major resorts. This VRBO condo, with its wonderful views from the lanais and easy access to the beach at Lydgate Park was perfect for us. We're looking forward to returning next year.
We love this condo at Kaha Lani. People are friendly and helpful. The views are hypnotizing that you just want to sit on the lanai sun or even rain. Very quiet spot and relaxing.
Perfect place in good location on the island just steps from the ocean. Well equipped kitchen. Beds comfortable. Showers great. Host very communicative, even on his own vacation. Hope to make it back someday.
The property was beautiful and an amazing view. The pictures don’t do it justice. The unit is centrally located and and easy to get anywhere on the island. The beds were comfortable, kitchen well stocked with everything we needed to cook. It was nice to have a washer and dryer in the unit. Close to the beach. We snorkeled at Lydgate which was just a few minutes and easy walk. The pool was heated and very clean. We didn’t even mind the kitties or the chickens! The property provided beach towels and beach chairs which were put to good use. It was low 80s during our stay so as long as you kept the sliding glass doors open and the fans on inside the house it stayed cool enough. Loved the shower heads (I want to put in my house!). Would definitely recommend and stay here again.
