Well placed house on Big Island. Central to accessing the north side and Kailua. Beds were comfy and the kitchen had all we needed(salt, pepper, coffee filters)! We were not familiar with geckos and they made their presence known to us, but were not a bother. Sitting on the deck for sunsets were amazing. Would book again!
We had an absolutely wonderful stay at this lovely property! From the moment we booked, the host was incredibly responsive and helpful—answering questions quickly and making sure everything was perfect for our arrival. His warm hospitality truly made a difference.The home itself was spotless—very clean and well-maintained, which we really appreciated. It had a distant ocean view that made mornings and evenings feel extra peaceful and relaxing. Sipping coffee on the lanai in the early morning or winding down at sunset, became our favorite part of each day.Another big plus was the location, only 6-7 minutes from the airport and conveniently located for access to Kailua Kona and island attractions.
Amazing stay, host was great!
This was a beautifully decorated home, accurate to the pictures. The host was super responsive to our needs and very kind. I could tell that he has put some thought into the listing and had left a few extras around for us that I wouldn’t expect from a VRBO. For us it was too noisy, but none of it was within the host’s control. It is worth nothing that the house sits off of a busy road so there is traffic noise (we had chosen this place rather than in Kailua-Kona proper because we specifically wanted to avoid traffic noise). There is also a neighbor who is really loud. I tend to look for quiet during my vacations so personally it was not a good fit. If you don’t need that then I would highly recommend this place!
I was really pleased with the proximity to the airport. Only 15 minutes to downtown kona. 7 minutes from the airport. The house is located in a nice quiet neighborhood. Everything was clean as expected. The sunset from the porch was perfect. I'm a low maintenance guest but the host was checking to see if i needed anything. Great place would stay againusually a lie
We enjoyed our stay in Kona. The owner was quick to respond with any questions and needs that arose. The lanai and view was especially nice as well as the remodeled modern kitchen.
It was very pleasant stay. Propery is well kept. The honor of property was very nice she did very good arrangement very welcoming.
