Ultra clean and functional condo with great ocean view. Its windy in Maalea but the location is central and non touristy. It’s a hidden gem. Most notably Sunny Maui Vacations has an exceptional customer service team that always responds promptly. If you need any thing they will be there for you. Its just really professionally run with lots of aloha.
We are extremely disappointed by the stay at this VRBO. Most striking of our displeasure is the listing—highly inaccurate. In addition, staff is available to connect via text at any moment but still this does not deny the fact of the lie of this domicile.
The water quality of the beaches nearby are contaminated, which local residents will tell you. Roaches were crawling all over in two of the rooms. Finally, the a/c stopped working.
It seemed to me that there was plenty of customer service representatives but something was “off” in the amount of integrity of the listing and the price that you pay for a room without any beach access.
Our stay was nice, the place was clean and welcoming. The bed has a topper that is extremely soft, so if you like a firm bed, definitely not a good fit for you! It was also located in a wind tunnel and had high winds, especially at night! It sounded like a hurricane outside the bedroom window. The views are beautiful and it's walking distance from shops, restaurants and the harbor for any water activities. I had to work at the schools in Lahaina and the drive was very easy to make in the morning, no traffic issues heading that way. Everything is very close and easy to get to from here.

The location and helpfulness was very good and maintenance addressed all needs immediately including getting us new beach chairs. The bed and bedding need to be upgraded as they were mediocre at best.
Beautiful view!!! The condo was fantastic. Kitchen fully equipped and provided beach gear was very much appreciated. The reason I docked a star for the listing description was because it’s not directly on the beach. We did have a short drive to the beach. The only other negative I can think of is that the air conditioning unit is not the strongest. The Living room Area where the unit was in was just fine but as you go further back past the kitchen In the hallway and especially the bedroom can get a bit warm. Luckily, they had three circulating fans available to use. The bedroom did have a ceiling fan also which helped. I’m not sure if we could have made it had it been prime summer time. Overall, trip and stay at the condo was amazing. I will never forget the amazing view we had. Wished we could have stayed longer!

Our suite looked over an ugly construction site, the room really smelled peculiar, looked like it needed a vacuum. I was disappointed with only one pkg of coffee for the pot, a lot of the cutlery was missing (eg only two teaspoons) and all mismatched. Hotel itself nice, great pools and terrific location. But very expensive for room that you receive.
This condo was perfect for my husband and me. We watched whales from the lanai with and without binoculars! So fun. It was immaculate! Just a great place to vacation. Loved everything about it. I walked to the harbor to go on boating outings. We highly recommend this beautiful condo.
