Love the house on Io Place!
We had a wonderful time staying at this house with my two kids and grandparents. the main living area is spacious and comfortable. Very easy inside/outside living made occasional rain no big deal. The kitchen has everything you could need to cook elaborate meals, the pool and hot tub are well maintained with lots of toys for the kids. Beds were comfortable and the house was clean. No complaints and would stay again!
This property is gorgeous. From the breathtaking views to the large, open concept common area with comfy sectional, large table and fully retractable wall to the pool area, it was the perfect place to celebrate our daughter successfully beating cancer! (Woo hoo!)We had 7 adults and the space accommodated us perfectly. The bedrooms were spacious, comfortable and three of the four bedrooms had their own bathrooms. The kitchen had a large refrigerator with a second refrigerator on the patio. We cooked several dinners at the home and had everything we needed. We even had a chef prepared dinner the last evening which we highly recommend. The views from the back of the home are spectacular. Stunning sunsets and a gentle breeze make it the perfect location. You can go "up the hill" a mile and there is a quaint town with coffee shops, gift shops and a restaurant. Going down to Kona takes about 10 mins where they have a Safeway, Walmart and other groceries and restaurants. It is also close to the ocean for snorkeling, charters, etc. and beautiful golf courses. The property includes access to a concierge service, Kona Concierge, and David was extremely helpful in setting up adventures and making recommendations. Everything we did was incredible and it was nice to have someone help us make reservations.The only downside was that the kitchen faucet was finicky and didn't always stay on, we reported it and it sounded like they would replace it after our stay.
Our stay was fabulous! Highly recommend. Well appointed kitchen. Comfortable beds. Outdoor space incl. pool, hot tub, grill, tv, dining area, hammock, as well as resort style pool lounges. Gorgeous outdoor shower, koi pond. Quiet neighborhood. Indoor space fabulous for gathering and hanging out with our group. Bedrooms roomy and private. No air conditioning. Plenty of ceiling fans, extra fans and mountain breezes. Truly a fabulous place to stay!
This property was one of the best I've ever stayed at. Me and my friends had a fantastic time! Was a little worried with the no A/C but during the day we were either in the pool or not at home. At night with the windows open and a fan blowing it was great.
Driveway was big enough for 2 SUVs
The view is absolutely amazing. It was like something out of a movie and we have never seen anything so beautiful before. Just for the view alone would be worth booking this house.
The house is stocked with every cooking utensil and appliances you can think of.
Met all of our needs. Outdoor grill was very nice spot to hang out while we cooked some steaks and watched some football.
Four king beds was perfect for all of us.
Pool was amazing and nice and cool. Great way to cool off during the day or at night. The hot tub was very relaxing at night just before bed.
Bathrooms were very clean and stocked well. Master bath shower and Jacuzzi were amazing. Didn't know a shower could have so many shower heads! Not sure I can go back to having just one! Only complaint would be that the cold option for the showers would be warm and not cold. Hard to take a cold shower. Not sure if that is a Hawaii thing or the house never having been here before.
One other thing would be that the night stands were a little dusty. But that was easy to wipe down with a towel.
Otherwise we had a great 8 days here in Hawaii and we can't wait until we are able to come back! :)
The house and the outside pool and hot tub and yard was beautiful. However house was so hot no AC and only a few fans that were left actually worked. It was difficult to sleep and you had no choice but to leave all windows and doors open. That I think is a safety issue but had no choice. Would not stay there again. Bedrooms should at least have AC.
The views are stunning, relaxing and makes it hard to leave. Was a perfect place to relax after adventures days on the island.

This was by far and away the best property we have ever stayed at. Unbelievably great views from all over the house. The open floor plan opens to the outdoors and the beautiful infinity pool and waterfall hot tub and the stunning view of the ocean from atop of the hill. Wonderfully situated, well-appointed, very clean, very distinctive. A true sluce of paradise. We did not want to leave.
House was perfect. More than enough room for 7 of us. Pool and hot tub were great and the views were amazing.

The property is a dream. The views can’t be beat. The home is spacious and was perfect for our two families, both with younger age children. Second to the view we really loved the shuffle board! We spent many hours in the hot tub. My only complaint if I could have one, is that the pool is not warm/heated. The home is up in elevation and it’s a bit cooler than at sea level (which is nice after a day at the beach). I realize this is a luxury request and may be relative for many and may vary with the season. I only mention it in case it’s important to someone else too. We made great memories in this home and we were all very comfortable. We would stay here again.
Beautiful property with fantastic views. It was a family affair with all of our kids, which made it the most memorable, best holiday ever!!!!!
We had a couple of issues with the property, but the staff at Kona Coast resort properties were exceptional and quick to reply to our needs. Leah and the team were extremely pleasant to deal with. A+ Two thumbs up to them!!!! We will be back to Kona

We had 6 adults and one small child in our group the the house had great spaces for everyone. The hammock was a hit! The kitchen seemed much larger than the photos and allowed multiple people to do what they needed there. We saw whales out in the ocean (at a distance) every day. The neighborhood was quiet (except for the tree frogs) and we enjoyed taking a coffee tour/tasting nearby.
