THE ABSOLUTE BEST CONDO EVER! We spent the summer on the islands and this was by far the BEST condo! From Lani to Molokai, hands down this condo takes the cake and we will definitely be back!
Overall stay was reasonable. We had a carpenter ant issue on day 2 that was acted upon quickly and correctly. The building maintenance, however is useless. The fire door across from the room would not close fully and latch. Consequently, it would open and bang every few minutes in the trade winds. Multiple requests to the mgmt company were acted upon by informing the on site personnel as this type of repair is not within their scope. That and an in person request to the onsite building mgr by yours truly were ognored. Our sleep was interrupted for two nights until I jammed something in the door to prevent it from banging. Otherwise the view, amenities and location on the water, were just what we ordered
This spot was cool
Because I had an ocean view and if you look down from the balcony there are sea turtles all along the wall eating. You see them on the beach early mor infs sleeping, then around 3 they all come out along the sea wall and munch in whatever is there. The Ac in the bedroom was LOUD but I needed it so.. Location was great for me. Quiet and not a lot of people. I would stay here again.
We had a great stay. Bed and hide a bed could use an upgrade. More bugs than we were prepared for by the water. We have stayed on Maui many times, but only twice by the water which I think brings more fellas into the condo. The Condo otherwise was great, a nice pool, close to a nice restaurant and shopping. Very centrally located to a lot of stuff. We would rent again, no doubt.
We had a wonderful stay in Maalaea! The weather in Maui was perfect, and the ocean front view from the condo was spectacular! From the balcony, we could watch sea turtles swimming in the water below. My Perfect Stays did a great job ensuring that the condo was ready, clean, and stocked for our stay! We will definitely come back and stay here again!
The weather was beautiful and the view fantastic! The air conditioning was great, but not always needed with the nice breeze. The condo had everything we needed. The pool was the perfect temperature. There was plenty to do and see while respecting the privacy of those who were affected by the fires in Lahaina. If anyone is thinking about coming to Maui, now is a great time!
We loved everything about our stay at Island Sands. I brought my mom to Maui for her birthday, and she looked at so many vacation rental listings before finding one that was just right. As soon as we walked in to see the view, she was asking if we could come back next year! The property was well kept, peaceful, and everything we were looking for. Sunrises from the unit were beautiful, and we really enjoyed watching the sea turtles in the water and on the beach below. Thank you for making our trip so enjoyable. We will definitely be coming back!
we could not have had a better time anywhere! the apt was great with all its amenities, the location was great, being centrally located for easy access to both sides of the island and for excursions up country. We put almost 400 miles on our rental car! Thank you so much for all you did. The concierge service was unbelievably spot on with everything they did.

The place was great and the location couldn't have been better.
However, the biggest issue was the bugs. There were bugs on the floor and the ceiling every day. It was off-putting for sure. My Perfect Stays did the cleaning the moment they were informed of the issue, but it was just not appealing that the bugs were there in the first place. They looked like little flies and little cockroaches. No doors or windows were left open either, so it was very confusing as to how they got into the condo.
All in all, the place, location, view and people were amazing. It was just the bugs that weren't appreciated. Maybe a different time of year would mean less bugs.
