Nice location with access to a pool. Not a short walk to the beach. Would definitely stay here again.
Wonderful location. Quiet with a great view from the lanai. Loved how close the beaches and pool were. Walking distance to so many things! The AC in the bedrooms was fantastic. My daughters really enjoyed the bedroom loft where they each had a bed.
I had a wonderful time at this stay. I'd rebook in the future, if given the choice.
Nice views and located very close to Poipu Beach, which was great for snorkeling, swimming, and seeing sea turtles and seals! Also close to Shipwreck beach which had a beautiful coastal trail. Host responded quickly to fix issue with AC in the loft. Nice to have a kitchen for cooking a few of our own meals.
Loved the location-walking distance to the beautiful beaches. Loved seeing the sea turtles. The condo is decorated nicely. Had everything we needed for our few days in Kauai. Owner was wonderful and so appreciative of her kindness.
We loved being able to walk to three beaches, multiple places to get food, hiking, and the pool/jacuzzi was just a few steps away. An added bonus was all the beach gear. The unit had a great view and it is now our favorite Kauai locale (after many trips to Kauai). We hope to be back soon!
This property was perfect for my family of 4. The kids loved the loft and the layout of the space was great. Location was also perfect, offering amazing ocean views, along with the pool, hot tub, and beach nearby. It was well-stocked and had everything we needed. We followed the advice of the property owner to open the windows to allow the trade winds to go through, but it was just too hot to bear, especially in the loft. The AC provided some relief, but it was just so hot everywhere except the main bedroom. The property was not very clean when we arrived. The bathtub had different types of hairs in it—long, short, curly, and what looked like short dog hair. We wiped everything down in the kitchen and bathroom before using these areas. I’m confident we left the place cleaner than it was when we arrived. It might be a good idea to check on the cleaning service to ensure they are doing their job adequately. It was disappointing to arrive feeling like the property was less than clean, especially given the cleaning fee of 245 that was charged to us.
This property was great for our family of four; one large bedroom and the loft upstairs with two twin beds for our adult children. The large walk-in closet was very convenient to have our bags, and hang/stow clothes. Loved the pool right downstairs, along with beautiful beaches just a short walk away. Excellent location with an amazing view. Would love to come back!

We enjoyed staying in this condo. The location is great both in terms of where it is in Poipu and where it is in the complex. The assigned parking spot is right outside the stairs to the condo and the pool and jacuzzi are right behind it as well. The ocean views on the balcony are really good. Walks to multiple beaches including the baby beach were easy. The condo was clean and the kitchen had everything we needed to cook meals, plus there are grills throughout the complex including right next door in the parking lot. The condo is stocked with beach gear, coolers, etc which was very appreciated.We were afraid that the noise from the pool would bother us but it didn't. The noise from the bar/restaurant next door, particularly on live music night, did bother us a little more though.The main bedroom on the main level was a great size and kept nice and cool. The upstairs loft area was well furnished with two twin beds and a couch but unfortunately was too hot in our opinion. There is a ceiling fan, a floor fan, a table top fan, and a portable A/C unit provided up there but with all of them running it was still hard to keep it cool enough for sleeping. After the first two nights we decided to let our toddler sleep with us in the main bedroom because we thought it was a lot more comfortable. This was unfortunate as we had selected this condo specifically to have a separate bedroom for our toddler.Overall though this condo has many great features and we enjoyed our vacation.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Poipu Kai! My husband and I took a late honeymoon and wanted something special. We knew we wanted the ability to make food, have our privacy, and proximity to beaches. Susan’s place had it all and was so comfortable catering to our every need. 100 percent would go back!
The condo is in an excellent location next to the pool and minutes walk to the beach. The loft can get hot and its air conditioner doesn’t function as well as the main ac. That said everything else was great.

We loved our stay! The condo looks just like the pictures and provided a great space for our stay. The view was stunning and we couldn’t get enough of sitting on the lania. The pool was loved by our kids and was very clean! The location was best of all. Easy walk to Poipu beach and 15 minute walk to Shipwreck beach. The grounds where beautiful and we enjoyed how easy is was to walk to the beaches or to the coffee in the morning. Can’t wait to come back!
We visited and stay in Kauai, many times before. It's, the best island for us. And throughout the years we develop some notion, where to stay and what is best suitable for our budget. But, one could never know what is awaiting for him, before he arrive at his destination. We took a risk in renting a condo overlooking busy area in the beautifully manicured resort, with a promising view of the ocean. Tenis courts and swimming pool area under your balcony prove to be a mistake. As far as the condo itself? Well, let just say, if you like it hot, you will be fine. Our host was responsive to our needs , we thank her for that.....but my advice to her will be this. If you want your customers to be happy in your condo, please make sure, you learn something from each of them, every time they rise an issue. We customers, we do often response to everything we see not "kosher". Here, I choose not to be harsh in the criticism of things, but let me be clear. I will not rent this place in the future.
The location is spectacular, with wonderful views of the ocean from the very spacious balcony that we had breakfast on every morning. The unit itself was extremely spacious. There was a nice breeze, and no air-conditioning was required on the main floor, but the kids did use the air conditioning up in the loft. Our kids referred to their loft bedroom as the “treehouse.” The kitchen was amazing and was completely stocked with everything we needed. The pool and hot tub area was amazing and for a small fee you can use the tennis courts for tennis or pickle ball.
Lovely location and an incredible view. Walking distance from the main beaches/bars/restaurants. Check in and out was super easy and Susan was very responsive throughout our stay.
We did not realize there were 3 flights of stairs to the main floor of our unit. This was a struggle with overly heavy luggage. The digital lock is on the door itself, not the wall next to the door. The internet log on can be found on the back of the router, which was a challenge for us. After a bumpy start we had 5 wonderful days/nights. The unit is well stocked and close to the beach. The pool and jacuzzi are well maintained and very clean.

This condo is located in a great area. Our family enjoyed the proximity to the pool, beach, tennis facilities. I think with a little bit of updating, it could be the perfect stay! The condo is fully carpeted - this carpet is far past it's life (dingy and dirty) and I believe leads to a musty odour in the space. The portable AC units were much appreciated - but the main living spaces don't have AC and were very warm. The AC units were also quite noisy and although we attempted to sleep with them off (relying on the trade winds), it was unbearably hot without them on. The bathroom, while functional, is in need of updates and a deep cleaning. The host was friendly and responsive. There is lots of beach gear to utilize and found the kitchen offered the necessities for our family cooking needs. I would have appreciated an info package within the unit detailing the wifi password, property rules, garbage locations, etc. Overall, we enjoyed our stay however we likely wouldn't return unless some updates were made to the unit.
This was in a perfect location for everything we were trying to do during our visit. Having the pool and hot tub were great for an end of day relaxation and the balcony for morning enjoyment. The beach is walking distance with an area where turtles rest. I have no complaints about the unit, it was everything we expected it to be.
My husband, myself, and our two kids ( 6 and 8 year old) stayed here in august. It was absolutely perfect. Clean, safe, and comfortable. Got hot during the day, but a quick dip in the pool made it ok. Quick walk to the beautiful Poipu beach. Loved being able to use the beach chairs and umbrella. If we are so lucky to be able to return to Kauai, we’ll book this place again.
We had a great time in Poipu. The condo was perfect for our family. We could walk to the beach, a fun restaurant next door, and a gorgeous view.

The location of this place cannot be beat. Steps from a Pool and Hot Tub, a few more steps to a friendly Bar and Grill, a few steps from several tennis courts, a short walk to two great beaches, a mile from the most amazing 4 mile hike(one way). Sleep with the windows open and be awakened by the singing of birds at sunset. There is an A/C unit in the loft and it was needed one night and did the job with the aid of an oscillating fan.
