Sarah’s place was clean, cute and cozy. Check in & check out went smoothly. Sarah was very helpful and answered our questions about the area right away. The home was well stocked with essentials and beach gear. Would definitely stay again. The animals and kids were very friendly!

My family and I enjoyed this accommodation. It was very clean and cozy. In addition, it has comfortable beds and multiple amenities including beach items. The fact that this property is in a quiet location away from the hustle and bustle of Haleiwa (but close enough if you want to venture there) made our stay very pleasant and convenient. Our family loved staying here and wished we could have made it a longer trip. Hosts were amazing communicators and very accommodating and flexible during check in/out and throughout the stay - even gave us childrens Tylenol early one morning when our 2.5yo spiked an unexpected fever! Above and beyond in every way. Our older daughter had a blast playing with the hosts’ kids as well. The Cottage has everything you could need - plenty of towels, beach gear, kitchen items, etc. Add in a super friendly dog and amazingly convenient location for exploring the North Shore and beyond, and it was the perfect place for us. Thank you to the Bruners for being such welcoming and helpful hosts!
This was everyone's favorite location we stayed during our vacation. The home itself fit every need for our family of four - enough space for all four of us, comfy beds, a full kitchen with everything we needed, comfy beds and we really made use of all the "extras" from colored pencils to snorkel gear. Our hosts were absolutely wonderful - they were incredibly welcoming and friendly, generously sharing local information and recommendations. My kids' favorite was getting to play with the friendly pets - especially Huck, who was up just as early as they were :) The location was great as well; we felt safe in the community, and were minutes from all the North Shore fun we had planned for our stay.
Host, Sarah, was the best from our reservation until we checked out. She was very helpful prior to our arrival and welcoming when we arrived. The home was very nice! Clean, cozy and larger than we expected. The beds were comfortable and the entire unit was well stocked with all that was needed for our stay. The AC and fans were nice to use during the warm afternoons. We especially loved seeing Huck! Thank you so much Sarah. We hope to return soon!
The property is the back house behind the hosts’ home. It still offered privacy and the host family is amazing. We felt safe and comfortable and had everything we needed and more. If you want to explore the North Shore this is a perfect job as everything is close and easy to get to. Waimea Bay, Haliewa, Sharks Coves, Dole Plantation, Kaena Point all within a short drive. We went to the local beach for sunset every night and it was less than a 10 minute drive.
Happy to fine such a nice place in Waialua. Sarah was a great host. The house was clean and comfortable. It had all the amenities. We will stay there again.
We had an excellent experience with the cottage. We went during springbreak and were concerned about crowds but this cottage was tucked away away from the hustle and bustle of honolulu. The location was great and the host was veryreply oreply.b rwpply answer
100% effective communication with the host. They know the area and were able to answers local questions about food, beaches etc. Prompt information and Prompt updates and prompt communication 100% Clean and great facility. Great space enough for a family of four. Functioning AC. Beds were great and comfortable. Fans in every room. Space was very clean when we arrived. Cottage had boogie board, cooler and everything that you would need to start your adventure. Kitchen had adequate supplies for cooking. We had dinner there every night and had no issues with what we needed to cook.100% great location. Close to beaches, hikes, food, shave ice, Acai bowels etc. Quite neighborhood. Safe neighborhood. When out walking or running every morning and felt very safe.100% friendly atmosphere. Like coming home to family. Huckleberry the dog greeted you each returned trip with a wagging tail. Host youngest son knocked on our door frequently telling us about a lunar eclipse, his fishing tackle box , his bicycle etc. I would give the Cottage 5/5 stars and the Hosts 5/5 stars. It was a great stay with my family. I would rent again if I had the chance. Very awesome and great stay at the Beachy Hawaiian Cottage.

Very cute place! Clean and quiet. Felt very safe and secure. The property was well stocked. Communication with host was excellent. Excursion with hosts charter was phenominal. Overall fantastic place to stay!

We slept like babies at night after spending days at north shore beaches. The beds were clean and comfy an
with AC if we needed it but we rarely did as the weather is always perfect. Kitchen and bathrooms has towels, toilet paper and paper towels plenty for the week we were there. Their dog Huckleberry and Midnight the cat are great little beings and very polite animals. The location is ideal and away from the crazy north shore traffic. Then it is just a quick 1-2 miles to the local sights. Easy peasy and immediate vacation! Thanks for the great space and peace. Blessings to the owners and their family.
The cottage was a great home base for our 5 days on Oahu. Minutes from many beaches, restaurants and shopping. The host made sure we had everything we needed. Hope to return 💯!
We wanted to feel like the locals so loved staying at the Bruner's cottage. The cottage was clean and light. Best sleep I've had in a while - bed was comfortable. The Bruners made sure we had everything we needed and were very accommodating (including fresh papaya picked by their son) and loved being greeted each day by Huckelberry. If we ever come back to Hawaii and need a place to stay, we are definitely booking this cottage.
It was a great stay on the north shore! There was easy access to the north shore, surf competitions, and Haleiwa. We would definitely come back here.
This property was at the PERFECT location. The Bruners were the most amazing hosts and made us really feel at home! My daughter wanted to invite them to our daily adventures and would wake up every morning asking if she could go play with them and their dog . We will definitely be staying here again

My child is allergic to cats and dogs. We did book this space (3 months upfront), because on the website it says that this place are not allowing any pets. About 1 month after booking I followed up with the host asking for the details/instructions/etc. She told me that she would send all 48 hours prior to arrival, as she did. Instructions said: "we have a friendly dog on the property". I sent a reply right away, explaining that my son is allergic and we cannot have any dogs or cats around. She told me that they will keep dog inside their house to make sure that it's not gonna contact our child. We arrived at 6:00pm, and by 6:30pm the dog was already running around the property, and just to be clear - this "friendly dog" is Pitbull. I have 2 kids - 2 years old and 8 years old (allergic one). I came to the vacation to relax, and do not think about their "friendly dog". Earlie morning, this dog was already next to our glass door, waiting for us without host around. We were basically locked in our tinny house until they decided to remove Pitbull. It was the worse experience ever. I did write the host explaining that it's not gonna work for us, my son already feeling very bad and we want to move out, and her reply was: "You cannot have your money back, because under the policy you have to cancel 14 days prior to arrival", but we knew about dog only 48 hours prior to arrival per her instruction email. We did move out regardless. Worse experience ever.
It was a nice location to explore the North Shore. The cottage was nice and the whole family was very friendly. The North Shore relaxed atmosphere is very different from what we're used to, but it was a nice change of pace.
just as advertised: clean, nice, well furnished. two bedroom, one bath. both bedrooms had well working a/c units. also included floor fans too. kitchen was amply supplied with a large refrigerator. Host and family are really nice too.
Sarah and her family made us feel like family. From booking all the way through checkout, Sarah made sure that we had what we needed and if we didn’t, exactly where to get it. All of their recommendations for dining and activities were spot on! And I can’t forget Huck greeting us when we came home!
The home itself was spacious enough for our family with two teens. We never felt like we were on top of each other. The location being so close to town made getting around easy and convenient. The only thing I wish is that we could’ve stayed longer! Whenever we do get back to Hawaii, we will not hesitate to book with Sarah again! Mahalo for everything , Sarah and family!

Loved our time with the Bruner’s! Everything was perfect when we arrived! Communication was excellent! They have everything you would need from beach equipment to kitchen equipment! Thank goodness they provided coffee for our first morning! We would love to go back!
Everything we needed for our family of four to enjoy to north shore and come back to a clean, comfy place to stay. The house felt fresh and new and the beds were comfy! Stocked with beach chairs, boogie boards, snorkel/fins. Hosts were so helpful. The only downside is it’s not walking distance to town or beach but it’s a very short drive to incredible beaches and adorable town so not a problem. We really were happy with finding this place and being able to stay.
