Facility was easy to find and was as described. But the master bedroom had no hand towels or washcloths when we arrived, but we did find a basket of them in the 2nd bedroom after a day or two. Master bed room chest of drawers bottom drawer had mouse droppings in it, but we did not see any active house mousses, so they may have been there for a while, Also, the MB closet, which was huge, we were afraid to use because both of the hanging doors were off their tracks and we were afraid they would fall on us.We are in Maui 3 or four times a year using VRBO or other services and this is the first time we have not had a rice cooker as part of the provided kitchen equipment. It's Hawaii, rice is a big thing!!
Beautiful place, lots of memories created!
The entrance door and lanai sliding door were very difficult to open. We were not able to enjoy lanai. No hot water after two people showered. Towels were smelly..

Our overall experience at this condo is good. The location and the view are excellent. The accommodations are good for 4 people (though 6 probably won't be bad).Minor issues. The check-in instructions failed to mention that once the code is entered, one has to lift up (instead of pushing down) the handle. We had to call the emergency line, which on the first try, the person did not pick up, leading to some anxious moments. This piece of important info should be in both the e-mail that we got as well as in the separate text that was sent to us.Another annoyance is that all the pots and pans are badly scratched. Given that we tended to eat breakfast at the unit, it made us cringe a bit in using it.Despite these little issues, we had a good time.

Vacation rental experience was great !
This property is ideally situated, not far from the airport and other areas of interest. The unit itself is clean, well stocked and with a good oceanview. Our group had a good time.
Some minor issues (easily corrected):
1) Instructions for the electronic lock lack one important point: turn the door handle UP, instead of down. Even though there was a taped lettering on the handle, we arrived at night and we did not notice the additional tip as it was dark despite our phone flashlight. If the host simply added this important instruction in his/her check-in sheet, we wouldn't have to call (frantically) the emergency line.
2) All the pots were badly scratched. We did some cooking and we would appreciate better quality pots. We strongly recommend that a new set of pot to be purchased, especially given the price we paid.
Great location and very close to the beach
We love staying in Kanai a Nalu in Maalaea. We dislike a lot of touristy beaches and love that Sugar Beach is so close. Location is close to everything as long as you don’t mind driving. Sad to see Beach albums closed but harbor and aquarium within walking distance. Thanks for having us.
Amazing area to stay. Loved our view and the people were amazing. Def will be staying here again.
