This condo is amazing! Would highly recommend to anyone looking to stay in Maui. It's 5 minutes from the resorts with a basically private beach. Would definitely stay here again!
Our stay at Makena Surf was absolutely incredible—the condo was beautiful, spotless, and well-equipped, with breathtaking ocean views from the lanai. We woke up to the sound of waves and watched stunning sunsets every evening.The beach just steps away was perfect—calm, clear water ideal for swimming and snorkeling. We saw sea turtles and vibrant tropical fish almost every day!The property is quiet, beautifully landscaped, and feels like a private retreat, yet it's just minutes from Wailea’s shops and restaurants. Truly the best vacation spot we’ve ever experienced—we can’t wait to come back!
We loved everything about our stay. The hospitality staff were all very kind. The condo was very comfortable and wonderfully furnished. The view from the lanai was outstanding. We had a very fun time.
We were of family of three generations. Six of us, ages 6 to 65. It is the perfect family condo. Very well appointed. Gorgeous views. Great beach and pools. There were a few issues, maintenance wise (slider that wouldn't open, safe that didn't work, kitchen cabinet doors loose) but one call to Ali'i resorts and everything was taken care of ASAP! We would consider a going back and definitely recommend it to friends.
Our family returned 3 years later…still amazing! Can’t wait to come back.
Patty and the Alii team were fantastic hosts and the property was perfect. The huge lanai’s with beautiful views were a highlight, as was the well-stocked unit and proximity to beach and pools. Recommend!!

We had a wonderful stay at Makena Surf. The home was beautiful and the view was beyond gorgeous.We loved going to the big beach. Also, the house was in a great location. Would love to come back!
We arrived at different times but the management group was very accommodating. I arrived about 8:30 pm, but the view at night was just as stunning as daytime. Our son was 3 hrs ahead of Maui time, and so he used the lanai for his office, and was able to spot whales 3 days for us. We loved the small beach, also resort pool, hot tub, and outdoor kitchen. The lush plants on the property added peace and serenity. My only complaint was climbing the 3 flights of stairs several times a day. They had cleaners come mid week and changed the linens. We enjoyed so many of the sights of Maui, and hope to return again in a couple years.
Thanks for a great 50th anniversary stay with my sons, their wives, and one grandbaby. Such great memories. The view from this property is beyond gorgeous. Property was very well appointed.

I was able to celebrate my 60th birthday with family here at this gorgeous property in Makena. The property owner was amazing to communicate with. The resort itself was also very accommodating. The location can’t be beat. We snorkeled every morning just below the beach location of the property, used the swimming pool daily, and It was close to other daily activities like golf, luau, and shopping that we enjoyed. The views every morning and night were beyond what the pictures show. Kitchen was wonderfully stocked and the decor of the property was lovely. I believe you will love this property as much as our family did! It was perfect for every age. The lanai was a favorite resting and hangout spot. Having two patio spaces made the unit so roomy and private for three families to spread out and enjoy (there were 8 adults and 2 children). Everyone was so sad to leave, I have no doubt that one day we will return to this magnificent property! Thank you for a wonderful experience!!!
There's so much to say about this great condo. First off, the location is absolutely amazing. You have easy walking access to the beach with about a 2 minute walk from the condo. Being a few minutes from the resorts and shopping was great, and there's an endless variety of eating choices just minutes down the road in Kihei. The condo lanai has beach lounge chairs and a big dining table that allow for unobstructed views of a little cove and the ocean. Great spot for watching sunsets, people and boats. If you have binoculars - bring them! We had 6 adults and 1 child in our party, and never felt like we were on top of each other with the great layout of the condo. Beach towels, chairs and coolers were provided and we rented umbrellas and boogie boards from a company about 10 minutes away from the condo. 2 umbrellas and 3 boards cost less than $100 for a week! Patty was quick to respond from the moment I booked the condo and stayed responsive during our stay, she is a great hostess! The resort property management was great too - also very responsive and vested in making sure your trip is a good one. The Makena Surf resort grounds were stunning, and the two pools were warm and so nice to visit after being at the beach. We used the gym everyday too. The property is gated and the nighttime security was such a bonus, we always felt safe meandering around the grounds. Definitely a 5 star experience so we'll be back!
Stayed here with my husband, 20 month old son, and extended family and had a blast. We all agreed that the view from this rental is the best you can get on the whole island. The pool is only a couple minutes walk away and the beach only a few more than that. The necessities are provided and the mid week house cleaning was nice to freshen up our towels. Check in and check out were super easy too. If you have an infant or toddler I recommend renting a high chair and beach wagon.

Beautiful and well maintained, felt very secure. Views from our lanai spectacular with lots of water activity, Whale activity, kayaking, catamarans , snorkeling and a small public beach that is very private.
For golfers know there are three world class golf courses across from complex. They offer a “Sea Horse Swing Pass” for three day’s unlimited golf.
We had a wonderful vacation here. The location could not be better. Located essentially between two private beaches, great snorkeling, beautiful views, and a very comfortable unit and entire property. We booked for next year before we left. Can’t wait to come back.

Fabulous location and beautiful condo. Loved having 3 bedrooms for adults and teenage kids. Balcony views were priceless. Easy access to beach and snorkel. Loved the quiet and private location away from the crowds. Easy drive to dining and excursions.

It’s also a place where the boats come with tourists to snorkel to see turtles (we saw so many turtles!) it’s so beautiful and fully stocked with all the necessary items such as beach chairs, ice chest, big beach towels, one beach umbrella etc. fully stocked kitchen and the bathrooms were very nice! It has three bedrooms; one king, one queen and two twins. Wish the queen bed was a king but it was still great. Side note for twins to be pushed together for king you need a mattress strap conversion kit (very inexpensive on Amazon) and it works great !
The condo has a little beach right below and large beach about a five minute walk to other side of resort!
