We loved our stay and we were very comfortable in the house. The air con kept it a very nice temp and the lanai was lovely to relax in at night or early morning. The kitchen is well equipped and has everything you need to prepare meals. The beds could have been better quality and the backyard had a bit of a funky smell, but overall we had a great stay. The location is great and the walk to Magic Sands is super easy!
This rental house was perfect for a family of 4 visiting the big island from Michigan. Plenty of space in the house with AC in the bed rooms and living area. Kitchen had everything needed to do some cooking for easy family meals. The walk to the beach is only a few blocks and the neighborhood is super quiet. Lots of extra towels and an outdoor shower out back to rinse after the beach. Near to lots of restaurants and stores and centrally located along the coast on the west side of the island for easy day travel to adventures. Definitely recommend this house for family vacations stays!

My son swims on a club team and he and a couple of other teammates were traveling to Kona for a meet. Just 3 adults additionally. We wanted to be able to make meals to help keep costs down. Also the hotel costs were through the roof! We ended up finding this property managed by Knutson and Associated, which appeared to be a rare find, so we hopped right on it! The property is located within walking distance to a small beach. It’s between 2 main highways so it’s really quiet. There was tons of room for all 7 of us, with a living room, dining room, family room, AND outdoor seating. There were mosquitos, alas, which were exacerbated by the lack of trade winds that weekend, but that didn’t stop us from grilling steaks on the gas grill! The kids found card games and board games in the family room with which to entertain themselves, which was also great! With Kona being SO hot that weekend, we also really loved that every room except the family room had air conditioning. What a treat! You do have to utilize the fans in the living room and kitchen/dining area and make sure the air conditioner isn’t overtaxed, but air conditioners in the bedrooms are AWESOME. The kitchen is well stocked with an incredible number of place settings, some pantry staples, and a ton of things to use for serving and grilling. We found that the water pitcher needed a new filter. We called and they came right away to drop off a new one! There were TONS of linens and too! They fo ask that you launder the extra linens (we were able to launder the ones our kids used on the pull out, and with the full size washer and dryer that was absolutely no problem. There is a driveway and carport where we were able to park; seemed like the upstairs tenant didn’t have a car while we were there. Lovely 3 bedroom home in a residential area close to everything. Well supplied with responsive management and nice and clean. We especially appreciated the well stocked beach supplies; the umbrellas are a must have!
