We loved our stay at Whaler’s Cove! The view is exceptional and we spent many hours outside on the balcony listening to the surf, watching turtles, and enjoying sunsets. We liked the location and the ability to walk to the shopping village and other local restaurants. We also enjoyed the pool area. Very quiet and relaxing.
Perfect location and beautiful, well maintained condominium. Bright, spacious and equipped with all we needed. Easy check in/check out very clearly described. It was easy to have a rental car on site but we could also walk to local spots - and drove to explore the island. We enjoyed the location and the compound is quiet, peaceful, clean, and gorgeous views and close to the action (beach, great walks, snorkeling).It was wonderful and we would like to return!
Great stay in April. Condo is clean and well stocked, especially coffee supplies, and beds were comfortable. View off lanai is wonderful and we saw whales turtles and excellent sunsets. Our kids (12 and 17) could walk to the mall from the property on their own, there are sidewalks. You can also walk to baby beach and job along the coastal road. This helped with everyone in our group having some independence. Poipu is close and we were addicted to Poke Shack by the end of the trip. Would def stay again!
Our stay was everything we hoped for and more. Check-in was a breeze, there was plenty of parking and the elevator is close to the unit. The condo is beautiful and very clean and had all the amenities to make it feel like home. We loved watching the whales and sea turtles play while we drank our morning coffee. And our sunset view was absolutely gorgeous. We truly enjoyed our stay and look forward to visiting again soon.
This is an incredible place in a perfect part of the island. It is quiet and clean. The views are unbelievable, and there are so many things to do that are close. We will 100% come back!
Just a beautiful unit in a quiet, lovely building. The location is great, the setting is dramatic and the grounds are very well cared for.The unit itself is very comfortable, very clean.Others have noted no AC but we used ceiling fans and never felt any need for AC. Photos are accurate but it’s nicer in person!Check in, communication and check out were just fine,We hope to return!!

This is an incredible VRBO - from the moment we stepped inside, it was obvious how beautiful the view is. The lanai was a great feature and you can catch the best sunsets there. The property was clean and very comfortable. There was everything you need, from comfortable beds to spices/kitchenware to toiletries to extra blankets. It’s also only a 5-10 min walk to the shops where you can buy whatever you need from Long’s Drugs or some of the stores and restaurants.
Beautiful 180-degree ocean view - we saw whales off the coast and nearby turtles almost every day during our stay.
There is no direct beach access from the condo property.
Elena was responsive to questions and we had a great time. We would definitely stay here again.
The Unit at Whaler’s Cove is a beautiful, well appointed property located in great neighborhood. The view is spectacular and we loved watching the sea life and listening to the sound of the waves. The owner/property manager are professional, responsive, and service oriented that were easy to communicate with on any subject.
We look forward to staying at this wonderful property again!
This condo complex is one of the nicest places to stay in the Poipu area. It is off the beaten path, a very peaceful place to stay. A beautiful pool and jacuzzi literally right on the ocean. This unit is nicely appointed with all the amenities to make your stay very comfortable. It is up to date and very nicely decorated. Elena was very easy to communicate with. Overall a wonderful experience. We will be back. Highly recommended.
