If I could make a couple of suggestions. The bedroom is on the same side as the condo roadway. The curtains are white so you get all the car headlights as they drive by at night. Would be better if the curtains were lined or a dark color. Also, would have liked to have a entry code on the door instead of a key that you must keep up with.
We had a wonderful stay at this property. The owners/property manager were always super responsive when we had a question or request. The owner lives in the complex and was helpful when we had a problem with the AC. While it couldn't be fixed during our stay, he said he would make sure that it's a non-issue for future guests. Location for this place is magical and we spent a lot of time sitting outside enjoying our view of the ocean. The king sized bed was incredibly comfortable and the owners have put new appliances in the kitchen, which is very well-appointed. It's an older building and unit though, so some things--including the rest of the furniture/decor--could probably use a little love. I'd also suggest a better lock on the front door. However, as an out-of-the-way gated community, it did feel very safe and secure. Overall, the complex is in a super location with a lot of wonderful and wonderfully cared-for amenities. The hosts were kind and always responsive--a terrific spot for a very fair price.
The unit was comfortable with a good views. I complex had a resort feel with nicely manicured grounds. We enjoyed our stay and found much value.
When we go on vacation, we love having our morning coffee with a view. This rental did not disappoint! Its not often you can see dolphins and whale spouts while you’re still waking up. But here you can. The condo itself was very clean and comfortable. We had plenty of room to spread out, including our diving gear. The deck (aka lanai) was great too for drying out our gear or watching the sun set. The bed was very comfy and it was nice having two full baths. The host provided coffee which was great and it was nice being able to do our laundry in the room as well. The location was central to everything we had planned. It was a short trip by car (we had a rental) to numerous restaurants, our dive locations, the Kona airport, seahorse farm, and other sites. One day we drove to Volcano Nat’l Park and the black sand beach on the southern tip of the island: about a 2hr trip one way. We had a pool directly in front of the condo which was very convenient and we always found parking within 20 yds of our front door. Great location, great host. Highly recommend.

This condo by far exceeded our expectations. The location was the best of any we’ve stayed at in Kona over the past 35 years. Listening to the ocean waves 24 hrs a day, & the constant breeze, was serenity at its best!!!!! The kitchen was better equipped than that of most people’s houses. My husband is a gourmet cook & he so enjoyed the terrific cooking vessels, appliances etc. & being close to the B-Que. The King size bed was very comfortable. We spent more time at the condo out on the deck than on any trip we’ve previously taken. Thank you for a most wonderful and amazing stay at your condo. We plan to return next year!!! PS It was 100 steps from our condo to the swimming pool & on the other side of the pool was the ocean. WOW factor!!!!!!!! Thank you again, Clark & Meredith 🌴🌴🌴
Great location for the pool and hot tub. Sunsets were amazing.
Spacious condo with many amenities. We love the lanai for it’s location, views and breeze. We have taken relaxing naps on it. The condo is only few yards from the swimming pool, hot tub and community bbq grill.
Also, there was also some beach equipment for loan. The washer and dryer were very convenient since we were staying almost a week. It was a home away from home.
We will reserve this condo again on our next trip to the island.
At first, my wife felt frustrated when we arrived as all the buildings look the same and trying to find a parking space was frustrating. Once we got into the unit, and opened the patio door, all the stresses faded away. The view is awesome and to listen to the waves crashing into the rocks was so relaxing we didn't want to leave. There were plenty of places to go walking around, including a cove just outside the main gait, and a golf course to the north, as well as along the shore. Overall, this place is very high class and very well maintained. We liked the two bathrooms as we each had one to our own making coming back from adventures much easier. The condo is on the south side of town, but still close to the farmers market for the delicious local fruit including Sour Sop; first time I have ever had that, but what a treat. Less than 100 miles to the Volcanos National Park for some good hiking around the crater-very strenous up and down for seniors like us. Staying here you will be happy and feel lucky.
