We had a group of eight for three nights and it was a great stay. The house is very comfortable with plenty of space. The setting is very peaceful and everyone loved spending time at the house. The location is great, just a few minutes from Hawaii Volcanos National Park. We would definitely stay here again.
We enjoyed our time at this house. My husband and I stayed in the guest cottage while the rest of the family stayed in the main house. It was nice to be away from everyone. The road getting to the house was much more rough than expected.
My husband and I honeymooned on the Big Island in 2000 and we decided to come back for our 25th anniversary. We brought our 3 kids and my parents along as well. This property was perfect for our party of 7. The little cottage was a great retreat for me and my husband. My parents enjoyed the main master suite. My girls shared the twin beds and my son had his own room. Plenty of space for all of us. Kitchen rather well equipped. Thankful for the washer dryer and extra beach towels. We booked this property before the volcano started erupting. Sadly it decided to blow as we were headed back to the airport to leave! Driving up and down the mountain was a little more driving than we expected as we explored the island. But the rainforest was definitely a different experience. Nice and cool. Different sounds. Amazing foliage. If you’re looking for a non-coastal place to stay, this is it.

This is a beautiful home in a very peaceful location. The property was spacious and accommodated our party of 8 with room to spare. The property is well maintained and the kitchen is well equipped. with virtually no ambient light the view of the stars is breathtaking and the home is in close proximity to Volcanos National Park. Communication with the owners is outstanding. Not only would I recommend this property without hesitation to my friends, I look forward to staying here again in the future. A true hidden gem.

Beautiful house! The layout was fantastic for our extended family to stay while visiting my parents. It felt like an oasis at the end of the day. Loved the decor, especially having been to Japan previously.

My famiy enjoyed The Dancing Volcano! Very spacious, nice outdoor patio. We played mah jong with the set at the house. We only wished we caught a glimpse of a wild pig! The stars at night were gorgeous! Mahalo!
