The location was wonderful, with stunning sunsets from the lanai each evening. Our group of six had a good stay overall. The stairs were a bit steep and tough on the knees. The bed in the second bedroom could use better support—it was easy to roll to the center when lying down—but despite that, it was still comfortable. The kids slept on the couch downstairs and mentioned that it wasn't the most comfortable option. One thing to note: be cautious about leaving food on the kitchen counter, as tiny black ants can appear quickly. They’re hard to spot since they blend in with the countertop.

Everything was perfect. The place was paradise — we even had a stand-up paddle board! The people were very friendly. We arrived an hour early and everything was already set up. Congrats!!
Everything was better than expected. The unit was great. Loved the kitchen and the view can’t be beat. The pool was right there and just a short walk across the driveway to get to it. Pool was way bigger and nicer than the photos suggested. Everyone we met were kind and gracious. We have four kids and we just played and had a great time. It is also right next to a black sand beach with awesome snorkeling. Would 100% stay here again!

Tha townhouse was located so close. We kept the windows open and the sounds of real crashing waves lolled us to sleep every night. Sunsets were wonderful and different each night.

Beautiful unit! Right on the ocean front!! The home is nicely equipped with all of the things you would need. I love the check in / check out services which Knutson & Associates provided. We were in constant communication prior to our arrival and during our stay and even when we checked out! Home is super clean, beds are comfy. Would stay here again!

Overall this was a nice place to stay. The layout was nice, the space is perfect for a family of four. The rooms were clean and spacious and having two bathrooms with showers was really nice. The proximity to the ocean is amazing and the perfect place to catch the sunset. The pool area and tennis courts were well-maintained and nice to have.The unit was nice, and I'd consider staying there again. When we stayed there it was for sale - I felt that it was lacking some of the comforts that we've had elsewhere, and things like the number of glasses in the kitchen were sparse and some items dated. The ice maker in the fridge didn't work and the DIY trays in the freezer were cracked. We also felt the water tasty a bit funky here and missed the water filter we had at another place we stayed. That being said, those aren't issues that we felt we needed to contact management about, and none would necessarily deter us from staying here again. I really think it's the lack of having a current owner putting in some extra love that was missing. We did have the internet go out one day and the property mgmt company was very responsive and helpful.Typically I don't like staying on the first floor of any place we stay. With the layout here, we didn't have a choice. There was a rod in the window, but there wasn't one for the sliding door (we "made" one using a step stool) and there were no curtains or shades for the sliding door. With the parking spots being numbered, it can be obvious if people are home or not in a unit - we had to make sure everything was out of view of that door.Being an end unit, and being that there is a great view, we had people outside our unit taking pictures of the ocean now and then - sometimes leaving their items on our outdoor table. We had a teen who would sleep on the couch now and then and I wish there would've been shades here for privacy. Overall, we had a lovely stay here and I hope a new owner adds some persona
First time to stay in this unit. Unit was very nice. Could have used some more paper products (paper towels, TP) as had to buy from Costco. Noticed ants (small black) on kitchen counter especially around sink - recommend a spray be done. We have been coming to Hawaii since 2010 and stay at KSRC always - love the pool - to bad they allow 'pickle-ball' hate that noise! We would stay again.

Great unit with amazing ocean views, best sunsets, ocean waves crashing sound. Unit is clean and so the pool is. Tropical Landscaping makes area so nice for walking around any time of the day. Knutson was also responsive to any questions. Absolutely would stay again or recommend to friends and family.
Fantastic view for sunset. Morning breakfast on lanai watching whales and different species of birds. Comfortable beds. Nice pool. A short drive into town was easy for shops and restaurants. Only downfall is the closest nice sandy beach is about a 45 minute drive.

Our family of 4 stayed at this condo in Kona for 8 days and absolutely loved it. It is located in a gated community of a Surf and Racquet club, which is already nice, but the location of this unit is the best on the entire property. The sunsets from the lanai are breathtaking and you are just steps from the water. Hearing the waves crashing with the bedroom windows open at night was so relaxing. The unit has a modern and bright/cherry decor that is inviting with all the basic amenities in the kitchen and laundry for your stay. I would recommend a bigger/newer coffee pot because we had to brew 3 or 4 of the mini pots per day for the 3 coffee drinkers in our family, but not a problem at all, just a suggestion. The management company is helpful and professional in their communication asking if we needed anything, which was appreciated. I have already recommended this space to friends and family looking to visit the big island. If you book here, I think you will be so pleased!

This condo has been beautifully remodeled and is well situated - right on the water, right across from the pool and next to the tennis courts. Our ONLY complaint was that the condo is not air conditioned and even with all the windows open, 3 portable fans and 3 ceiling fans, we found it quite warm. The unit is very bright and airy but the sun does keep it warm. Granted, we were here in the hottest time of year. Beautifully furnished, appreciated the beach chairs! Property just transitioned to management by Knutson & Assoc and they were very prompt in resolving our lack of beach towels. Would have appreciated a starter supply of coffee/sugar/creamer and perhaps some condiments.

Even with all the windows and doors open with fans, there was no breeze and sleeping was very uncomfortable until late at night. The property managers did compensate us for the wrong listing which was great and they were very responsive and took full responsibility. Everything else about this property was great, the parking space is just a couple steps away. The pool is a very short walk away. A couple of other things:
-The check in info was incomplete. We were not provided a gate code or a pool gate code and had to ask for those. It was very frustrating after a long day of traveling not be able to get into the property.
- There is no information about the property available in the unit. There are no property maps or contact info for help with other guests. For example there were people blaring there music at the pool, in violation of the posted rules at the pool.
- People are free to walk in and fish in front of your condo. My understanding is that shoreline access is guaranteed by Hawaiian law but it was a little weird to have people standing right outside the lanai fishing even late at night (they had head lamps on).
- The beds are very comfortable ignoring the heat issues. I really appreciated this as we've had other vacation rentals where the beds were terrible.

The condo is as advertised. Beautiful views. 10-15 minute drive to Kailua Kona. Kitchen is well stocked. Grocery store and drug store very close. Overall property was quiet and very well maintained with beautiful landscaping. We would stay here again if we return.

She went out of her way to make sure we were comfortable and we felt so at home in this peaceful piece of paradise, right next to the ocean. It was heavenly, listening to the crash of the waves, lulling us to sleep each night, after our days filled with Kona activities, too numerous to mention. Our hostess went out of her way to give us pickleball instructions and so many suggestions of things to do and see in the area. We will be back. We can't wait!

This is our 5th trip to Kona & the best place we have stayed! The cleanliness & ease of renting this place was wonderful. Anita, the owner, was the best to work with. She was great at responding to us & keeps a very organized, neat, & comfortable condo. We would definitely recommend this place to anyone & will definitely come back to this place!

Second, the overall location is fantastic. You're close enough to enjoy Kona without being in the middle of the traffic. The gated community is quiet and relaxing. And it was a convenient launching point to explore the whole west side of the island.

the condo would be perfect for a family of 4 or for a couple. The kitchen has been updated and is well stocked. The only draw back for us is, as we were all 75 and older, the steps up to the bedrooms were a little tiresome.
