We were really disappointed with our stay at this rental. Several key appliances were not working, including the washing machine, dishwasher, and even the keypad to the front door, which raised concerns for theft and safety. The wifi worked intermittently. Some windows don't close properly, and the toilet handle was barely functional. The condition of the home also left a lot to be desired. The stairs to the upper level felt unsafe and unstable, the carpet is worn and really needs replacing, and the bed is pretty uncomfortable. On top of that, there wasn’t even a dustpan available for basic cleaning.Overall, the property did not meet our expectations, especially for the price. With some major repairs and updates, it could be a nice place, but as it stands, we cannot recommend it. The location is good but that's about it.

Best location! Very quiet place and so very green. The rental itself understandably is weathered because of the humidity. But we did not mind that. There is no air conditioning so the loft with the two single beds can get extremely hot as it’s right under the roof. The rest of the house was fine with 4 floor fans and the ceiling fan. The house was well equipped with everything you may need. There was even aloe Vera for after sun. Overall great stay.

We enjoyed this property @ the lush and laidback north part of the island. Foodland very close and lots of eateries nearby and @ Hanalei. Caution: the stairs to the loft beds is narrow and steep
We are experienced travelers and have stayed in VRBOs around the world on many occasions. We booked the Paniolo unit in Princeville for 3 weeks based on previous reviews and photos. Unfortunately we found a number of things lacking. The vacuum cleaner did not work and there was nothing to wash floors with. To the management companies’ credit they had us buy a mop which was reimbursed and they provided a mid-stay cleaning. However for a 3 week stay we would expect to have had a working vacuum. On the Friday of our second week we received a phone call that our windows needed closing immediately as our unit was going to be power washed within the next half hour. The following week without any notification painters arrived and commenced to cover all our windows and deck door with plastic in preparation to paint. Because of the ongoing painting our deck (lanai) was not useable for most of the last week of our stay and without airflow in our unit for two days, our unit was very hot. Again, to management’s credit, we received some compensation for the inconvenience, but the lack of communication was unacceptable.Three of the glass window slats in the kitchen were missing. This was not an issue until we had a bit of a wind storm and dust and debris blew in covering the sills and counters. Even though the management company eventually responded to some of our concerns, overall the number of issues made for a disappointing stay.
Great location and everything we needed.
We spent most of our time in Hanalei Bay. This condo was in a good location to access that easily. There was a shopping center nearby for a restaurants and supermarket.The condo was nice and it had easy access to a little trail behind the deck. There was a rooster that like to crow.
Very nice unit, all amenities you could want, close to attractions and shopping. We'll be glad to return.

Nice Location, Room was amazing, Have everything you need: Laundry, Kitchen, Beach gears, etc. Bed was comfortable. Don't worry about A/C cause they provide multiple fans in the room. Warning : a lot of Chickens will alarm you in the morning!!
We appreciated the location, walkability, nearby stores, and management company who addressed our requests promptly. Sadly, the requests to repair the toilet, and provide baking and paper towels, should be addressed before our arrival. We will be back in the Princeville area, just not at this property.
Great location. But understand that the place is 40 plus years old and the upkeep on the unit is average.

We enjoyed out stay at Paniolo 210A. It was clean, private, and the lanai was a lovely place to sit and relax. The pool was handy and refreshing after a day of activity. I couldn't give a full five stars on maintenance because the dryer didn't work, but management was easy to deal with and they had someone out to fix it right away. The only other problem was one of the glass louvers in a kitchen window fell when we opened it because it had no bracket. The only other thing I would say is the lighting over the table was inadequate to do any writing of postcards or reading of maps. Overall, we enjoyed the calm, relaxed atmosphere and the apartment was a welcoming place to come home to after a busy day.
When pulling into the property, there was a truck blocking my assigned space. Upon entering the unit, it smelled of stale cigarette smoke. It took the owner longer than overnight to get back to me. When trying to open all the windows to address the smell, I noted that the blinds were quite dusty/dirty. The fridge didn’t have a door handle. The path to the ocean described in the listing is overgrown, and I’m used to hiking. It is well located to Princeville Cemter, which is great.
