We loved staying at the Nihilani condo. The complex was well taken care of, had a great pool that was perfect for the kids, and a nice bbq area that we utilized.
The condo itself was lovely. The garage was small for us since we had 2 cars, one of which was a large suv. The driveway is small and is shared with 2 other garages so it was a little tricky for us to get the big suv in around our other smaller car without the luxury of a big driveway, but we managed. The kitchen was perfect for us, stocked with almost everything we needed (we bought honey and some spices that we ended leaving there for the next guests). There were some board games and markers in the entertainment center that we were glad to have and we made use of. The beds were comfy, the pillows were not great (too hard and tall for my neck), but maybe other people prefer that kind of pillow. Even the pull out sofa bed was comfy - I wasn’t sure whether the extra room with the pullout bed would be great, but it was totally fine for my 10 and 4 year olds to sleep on. The balconies and lanai were so lovely and we did utilize them everyday.
The location was ideal - great for getting anywhere we wanted to go - around the corner from Foodland and a coffee shop, 10 minutes to Hanalei and Kilawea,(the farmers market in Kilawea was fabulous) really it was fantastic.
I would absolutely recommend this spot to anyone who goes to Kauai. Mahalo!
The condo is clean, well furnished, and in a great area. Two car garage, and lots of beach equipment to use. Close to the pool and grills. Near walking paths. Central A/C was out but they had individual rooms units. The front door lock didn’t work well, but we usually entered and left through the garage anyways. Owners responded quickly to questions and issues.
We had a great stay. Different beach areas very day, and close to stores and restaurants.
Hello
We were very disappointed that the Central AC was not working and instead had 3 portable AC units that didn’t really cool the house down. We were not notified of this and found out upon check in. One portable unit in master, one in living room and one in guest room. Leaving one bedroom too hot to sleep in on night one. We had to have those guests move into other rooms that were already full.
Property Manager was able to get one more portable installed in 3rd bedroom on second day which was good and they also tried to buy blackout shades ( but they were sold out) as the portable units didn’t allow us to close shutters.
Just a steep price to pay for a place for portable units that were super loud and hard to sleep through and without shades on the window we were up at 5:30-5:45 each morning. This is the only reason why we are rating it low and while we hate to do it and complain it was a disappointment and we would have booked elsewhere if we knew Central AC was not working and scheduled for replacement in a month.
If the Central AC was working we would have given it 4-5 stars.
Hoping VRBO can do something for the inconvenience
Plenty of space for our family of seven to be comfortable and spread out. Kitchen was awesome, you could eat at the breakfast bar or the dining area which accommodated six people. Master bathroom was large as well as the walk-in closet was too. The lanai downstairs was a nice spot for coffee in the morning, and there were two additional ones upstairs. Kitchen was well equipped and spacious. Carpet was on the dirty side and ac was not super cold. Otherwise a really beautiful unit.

We enjoyed this property. It had everything we needed. The pool and hot tub were nice. The beach equipment was so useful. We recommend this property for a lovely stay in Kauai.
Townhome was nice and clean, accurate description, good size, and pretty landscape. This particular townhome is in a small and private nook inside of a larger princeville neighborhood. We have kids ranging ages 4-10. We got yelled at by neighbors in the pool for having too much fun and making noise during the day. You have to park inside the garage, no community parking spots except for 1 stall at the pool. The garage is tight with two cars. Had to do a shuffle and multiple point turns to get in and out. But they had gear to borrow like foam boards and beach chairs, which was nice. Wouldn't stay again because of the retirement old feel. Other parts of princeville suited my family better.
