Ocean over lagoon front views from the lanai (balcony), you are so close you will hear the ocean and watch the waves come sideways into the lagoon below. Enjoy watching the fish and turtles swim in the lagoon and the lighthouse off in the distance. The sounds of the sea will lull you to sleep after your day of sightseeing or relaxing.
The bedroom features a king-size bed. This condo has recently been updated to include new flooring throughout. Condo includes high speed wifi, perfect for working remotely or just video chatting.
Small appliances include an iron and hair dryer.
This unit comes equipped with beach chairs, towels, umbrella, and a small cooler for guests use. It may or may not have some snorkel gear that was left by previous guests. We do not provide snorkel gear. Non-fitting snorkel gear takes all the fun out of snorkeling, so it is best to rent your equipment while you are here.
Oceanfront property disclaimer: This unit could not get any closer to the ocean. It makes for great, unobstructed ocean views along with a bird s eye view of the reef below. However, during the winter in Hawaii, we get large swells and wind off the water. Your view may be impaired by saltwater dried onto the glass. During high swells and wind and or rain, it may not be comfortable to sit on the lanai. Please take this information into consideration when booking. If you feel these issues may adversely impact your stay, please call us. We may have other properties not quite so close to the water that may better see your needs.
Just a short distance to the Royal Kona Resort, Huggos, Hale Kona Kai has an oceanfront pool, elevator, and BBQ area. It is a small complex of oceanfront condos in town but just off the beaten path! Located on a quiet side street (75-5870 Kahakai Road) and just a short block to . Hale Kona Kai is right next door to Honl s white sand beach and near the Kona Farmers Market. All condos are non-smoking. Hale Kona Kai is a non-smoking facility.

Very nice rental. The view was amazing. We had breakfast on the balcony every morning. Only negative item was a scaffolding set up on the units next door.

Enjoyed sitting in the lanai and listening to the waves. At times noise from the construction was bothersome but overall good stay. Tracy (property manager) was responsive and helpful!

Fantastic location a few minutes' walk into town, lovely view of the ocean without it being directly west, you can look to the right and see the mountain in the morning. It was exactly like it looks in the pictures but there's a new non-carpet floor now. Furniture clean and comfy, new memory foam on the bed. Nice welcome bag of coffee beans, there is a grinder! Only gripe was no soap pod for the dishwasher and no dustpan.

Location is excellent. We were able to walk to the town of Kona, had great restaurants and a swap meet where we were able to pick up souvenirs at a great price. Condo was extremely clean. Loved the fact that there is a key box outside the door so you are able to keep a key in there. This helped when leaving the key in the condo. Air conditioning was welcome and worked great. If owners are looking to change anything , I would recommend to change out the toilet for a taller one. Would definitely recommend and stay here again. View was great! We were able to see many whales from the balcony.

Everything about this place was perfect. The property manager was wonderful to work with and the condo itself was clean and had everything we could possibly need. Not to mention a wonderful view from the lanai! We will definitely be returning hopefully very soon!

Very nice day, nice and simple nothing fancy. Great view from the balcony.
A little, musty, smelling, likely because the carpet but still very nice. We really enjoyed our stay!
