Beautiful pool and bbq area … quit complex even with construction . Full time residents were very nice . This condo had everything we needed . Although it’s an older unit it was very nice . Plenty of hot water and very clean .
COCKROACHES! This place has a major infestation, not "bugs that come in on previous guests' fruit boxes." We woke up to roaches on the bed, in the kitchen, in the cupboards, coming out of the gaps around electrical outlets, and in the ice cube trays (see photos below). The owner, when contacted, blamed previous guests, was unapologetic, and dropped of sticker roach traps that did not work and had to assemble ourselves. DO NOT STAY HERE. VRBO needs to make sure that the places offered on their website are actually inhabitable and pest-free.
It was a great stay and we had a good time. The place offered a good location and basic amenities that were perfect for us. The check in instructions hadn’t been updated but the host was quick to respond and clear things up. The place was a bit dated but still comfortable. The main thing we ran into was there was an abundance of flies. In the first day we killed at least 8 flies and we killed at least that many more the rest of our time. There were also some assortment of other bugs. Again, we loved our stay and for the price and location I’d stay again.
Property was spacious and clean. Could use a few updates but nothing major. It's a comfortable environment with friendly neighbors. Beach towels and equipment were appreciate. AC worked excellent. Lots of fans as well. Washer and dryer were very helpful. Quick response from host. Would stay again.
The stay was great and we were pleasantly surprised by how clean the place was and how much nicer the pool and common area was compared to the photos.
The stay was great. Great location. Facility is aging but the rates reflect that. We had an issue with a very noisy refrigerator, which was replaced within 3 days of it being mentioned to the property manager. We would definitely stay there again.
This property was very simple to get to was quaint and had a very easy layout to maneuver around with friends and family. We were able to make and cook meals regularly. We had excellent amenities in the pool as well as the grill stations. We were not able to use the hot tub nor the fire pit as those were both under repair. Not an issue for us. Those things will be fixed upon review of this review and we will definitely look to possibly come back to this location as we are regular visitors to the big island and would highly recommend that everyone else do so as well

Second time I have stayed in this complex. We like the location, pool area is really nice. Hot tub was never hot while we were here, but the pool was warm enough to swim in. Location is great, owner was responsive and helpful. Property was clean, but could use a little update. I would stay here again for sure.
For the price, meh.
The kitchen faucet was broken, and there was no air conditioning as advertised; the indoor temperature remained at around 81*-82*.
Otherwise, it was okay.
Had an amazing time here during the lead up to Ironman World Championships. Highly recommend!
We had no a/c the first night and was moved to another and might I say a better unit the following night and for the remainder of our stay.
We enjoyed our stay in Kona. The unit was clean - conveniently located and had a balcony. The AC was not working so luckily the unit had 3 fans.
The condo was the perfect size for a family of 4. Well equipped with everything we needed to make meals and also items for our beach days (towels, chairs, umbrella). We had no issues whatsoever with the condo itself; our only issue was the rooster(s) we heard every morning starting around 4:30am.
The condo was in a great location. We were in walking distance from the beach, shopping, and restaurants. My family enjoyed staying at the condo. I would recommend it when staying on the big island.

The condo was as advertised and the pool area was an oasis after a long day on the island. Great location near Kona! The VBRO app was a challenge however, as it would not let me sign in to reply to the host's messages.

House was clean, well stocked and had a jungle like view.
Pool sparkle; spa had heating prob but owner got fixed.

The kitchen is stocked very nicely! Lots of towels! Beach chairs are convenient. Great TV! A noisy rooster so I would recommend earplugs which we had. Clean quiet pool area.
This place is in a great location. Even though it’s quite old, the building seems to be well maintained and in a good condition. It is very quiet and comfortable place for vacations. The hosts are very nice and responsive. We enjoyed the staying and will consider coming back in the future.
This apartment was tastefully decorated, clean, and close to shopping, restaurants, and most of the activities we planned to do. We were very comfortable here and would stay here again. The apartment had everything we could have needed.
