Kitchen well stocked, Wi-Fi good Pool could use some railings for in and out access
This property was very nice. The host communicated quickly and efficiently. The house had all the supplies needed such as paper towels, tissue, toilet paper, cleaning supplies, cooking supplies and utensils. They also had board games, ping pong, darts and snorkeling gear as well as towels. The only drawback is there is no air conditioning and there is road noise. I would suggest a window a/c for the second and third bedrooms since they get the afternoon sun. There are plenty of fans to move air and the pool and lanai is where we spent most of our time. This is a great property and we hope to use it again.
Great place to stay in Kailua Kona with family
We stayed here for 30 days and it was absolutely amazing! The location was close to town, but you feel away from it all being up on the hill with an amazing view of the ocean/sunsets. The pool was a HUGE nice to have for the kids and adults alike. The home itself was well equipped for a family of give and the access to scuba gear, beach chairs, beach toys was so nice! The kids learned how to play ping pong in the garage and are hooked now. Overall, the house was absolutely what we wanted. Two things that are worth mentioning in case it might be a big deal for others (it wasn't for us.) The house is right next to a fairly busy steep road. That means every now and then loud cars are coming up/going down. If you have small kids they may wake up to this early in the mornings during the weekday commutes. In addition, this house is like many others in HI and it has no AC. We came in June/July so it was fairly humid. We opened windows and the house is equipped with many fans so it wasn't horrible, but something to keep in mind. Overall, our trip was made even better by this home. Thank you to Nicole for her quick responses to a couple of basic questions we had. We loved it and will be back!
