This second story condo is second from the end,near ocean front. The lanai gives the visitor a wonderful view not only of the ocean and palm trees but the beautiful garden area and the hills/mountains. Kona Isle,itself is located 1 1/2 miles from'town', a nice walk done by many daily. A scheduled bus comes by,also a local trolley that will take you to the snorkeling beach (Kahalu'u). The trolley runs from town and the pier for about 6 miles South.
Kona Isle condos are located on the ocean with beautiful maintained grounds. There is a pool with new patio furniture. There is a sand beach with new chairs and lounges. If the waves are just right,you have access to a fantastic salt water pond next to the complex. Next to the 'beach' is a barbecue area with a deck,tables and benches. There are many happy gatherings on the oceanfront.
Kailua-Kona town and the surrounding areas are full of historic and adventurous sights,restaurants and events. Wonderful property. Just as advertised. Communication with host was great! Very comfortable, clean, great views, close to great restaurants and shopping, easy drive to area beaches. Can't waiit to go back!!

Excellent VRBO property for my recent 11 day vacation.
Loved the ocean views from the lanai.
Excellent nightly sunset viewing location ocean front on the beach.
Condo was clean, well kept and well stocked.
Appreciated beach supplies (chairs, umbrella, blanket, towels). Used the yoga mat daily for yoga on the beach.
One suggestion:please replace the broken beach chair.

We loved staying in this condo. We are always busy doing things during the day and in the evening when staying in Kailua Kona and this condo had everything that was important to our vacation. It was very quiet with a comfortable bed, beautiful breeze and sound of the ocean from the open windows every night. The kitchen was very well equipped, everything seemed to be new! The Kona Isle Complex is a very well kept property and we loved sitting on the ocean front after a busy day resting and relaxing. The grounds are so well kept thanks to the resident manager who was also very friendly. Thank-you for sharing your lovely condo, I wish we could have stayed longer.

The condo was well looked after with up to date fixtures and appliances, the view of the ocean and grounds from the second floor deck was impressive, from there we were able to see dolphins and the odd hump backed whale in the distance - very impressive-.
Would recommend the condo for those interested in quality accommodations, we would not hesitate to return for another stay.

The condo was recently updated and beautiful appointed. All you needed was at hand for a great stay. Excellent cooking supplies, pots and pans etc. New appliances and a great shower. Only 100 steps to the pool and a beautiful private beach. Great grilling area right next to that beautiful Kona surf. A nice 2 mile walk into Kailua for restaurants and shopping was very convenient. Owners stayed next door and they were wonderful. If or when we return to Kona, we will stay here again.

We spent two weeks in this nice ocean-front condo about a mile south of the little village area. The unit is clearly recently updated, is nicely furnished, has every kitchen item one could ask for (including a very much appreciated crock pot), comfortable bed, clean and tidy, good TV w/ cable, plenty of high quality towels and linens. Each room has an overhead fan and the unit has a wall A/C in the living room. We found that the A/C did not cool the bedroom enough for our tastes, but an extra fan made it work fine for us. (This was not a big deal.) The property is small (which is what we wanted and liked) and very well maintained. The landscaping is lovely, the pool area is clean and in great shape, the little beach area is nice (no water access but great view). BBQ and picnic tables on the beach area lets you eat outdoors at sunset. I'd encourage the owners to create a 'welcome packet' that would include more information about the unit and the area. We travel to Hawaii frequently and are very familiar with all the islands. If I was a first time visitor, it would have been helpful to have some local info (grocery, gas, restaurant faves, etc) like I see in other HomeAway properties. My only complaint is with HomeAway for their incredibly slooooow return of the deposit. It's been three weeks since we left the property. The owner says it's up to HomeAway to release the funds. Still no return of the deposit and no way to communicate directly with HomeAway on this (as far as I can tell from the website). Overall a nice property, great location, reasonably priced.

We could not have been more pleased when walking into this condo for the very first time to find it so very perfect! Everything about it was lovingly updated and comfortable, from the gorgeous and fully stocked kitchen, the GREAT shower, comfortable bed, and large flat-screen TV where we spent a good amount of time watching the Winter Olympics from South Korea. The complex isn't overly large, the grounds are well maintained, and it was quiet since it's about a 10-15 minute drive from the busy little town. The on-site manager and owners were very responsive and helpful when any questions arose. We highly recommend this property and would definitely stay here again!

My wife and 14 yo son were really happy with this condo. The space was good for the 3 of us. There’s a king bed, pullout couch, and seating for 3 on the lanai. You can also pull in a chair from the lanai to sit 3 at the kitchen bar. The kitchen has pretty much every utensil and appliance you’d need. We used the washer & dryer a few times. Ample storage space. Lots of great stuff for the beach too! Snorkeling gear, beach chairs, umbrella, coolers, and boogie boards (a little worn). From the lanai is a view of the water. There’s a great viewing area by the water for sunsets and just hanging out or bbq’ing. The pool is nice. We LOVED that this was a quiet complex. In five days/nights there, we didn’t encounter any loud conversations or noise. It’s 1.2 miles into the south part of Kona (easy to walk/run/ride because of bike lanes on both side of road. Kona beachfront is about a one mile stretch. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Kona Isle and this unit. Bonus was AC in the living room.
