Beautiful and comfortable place to stay in Kona. We had everything we needed. Close to everything we like to do. Love watching the surfers from our lanai!
Noce location. It’s our second time in the property.
On arrival, door was open (not just unlocked). Lights and fans on and it looked like someone was using the unit and left before we arrived. Sorry to say, but the toilet seat had obvious excrement on seat. Air conditioning was barely enough to minimize the heat except the back bedroom stayed pretty warm. The unit had been cleaned, but needed a deep clean in some areas. The view was as advertised and we did enjoy the view and sunsets. The complex is older and reasonably maintained and close to downtown Kona.
We loved this condo! Great oceanfront location with AC. Clean and comfortable. Had a blast exploring the tide pools. We definitely plan to stay here again the next time we are in Kona.
Our family of four (Mom, Dad, 22- and 17-year-old boys) stayed at this property from June 14th-20th 2024 and had a wonderful time. The unit was clean and well maintained. The kitchen was stocked with the utensils and pots and pans we needed (though we really only ate breakfast in daily and only cooked in one evening). The complex was easy to find, but I would say it is not quite within walking distance to downtown Kona, but we never had any plans parking at the unit either with a large SUV. The best thing about this unit is the views! The pictures don't do it justice. We had some nice size waves during our stay due to a storm at sea and it was awesome to just watch and listen to them crash on the outer rocks. We had rainbows and some beautiful sunsets also to watch. We would definitely stay here again!
Great view and loved hearing the waves coming in.
Loved it. We enjoyed the relaxing sound of waves and birds every morning from the patio area. Everything on the property was clean and in working order. We prepared a few meals in the kitchen, used the coffee maker every day, and used the washer/dryer a few times. AC worked well, plenty of hot water, and easy parking. Close to town but very quiet.
We spent two weeks and our stay was wonderful! Great space and right on the ocean. It was beautiful!

Condo is just as described. Close to Kona and not far from grocery stores. Spent every morning listening to the waves and enjoying coffee on our lanai. Property is a little dated, but you can't beat the location. Only thing that was kind of a bummer was that the propane for the BBQ's is taken away at night, which we did not realize and had to alter our dinner plans because of this. All in all, we would definitely stay here again!!
Two problems:
Washer did not work properly
Toliet handle did not work properly.
Also extra fees were not included in the online listed .

View and sound of the waves was awesome! Property and condo are a bit old and run down, but still functional. Close to all of Kailua Kona and not far to Volcanoes Park - about 2.5 hours. Eat at Volcano House. The food is good and the view of the caldera is great!
What apartment needs: more dish towels (only 1) more coffee mugs (only 2 mugs) fan with light on balcony; there is just a small light and with the sun setting on the balcony, a fan is needed, throw pillows for sofa and chair - they are way too deep for short people.
Guests need to know ahead of time that there are luggage carts in the front lobby to carry up luggage and groceries.
Need to provide Windex to wipe down all the glass tables. We were there 2 weeks and had no cleaning supplies.
Beds were good and firm. Towels were good thickness. Stove, microwave and dishwasher work well. Refrigerator opens from the wrong side, but still can be used.
Recessed can lighting made everything bright except in front of washer/dryer. Pretty dark there. No problems with bugs at all. Folks are neighborly and the things that we called to get repaired - Kona Coast Properties responded very quickly.
FYI - a condo was for sale a couple of doors away, also facing the ocean. Asking price - $1.2 million!

The place is a little out dated, although the location is great, well worth the ocean view.
We enjoyed the condo for several days. Location was convenient close to all the places we wanted to visit in this side of the island yet it was very quiet. The balcony has the best ocean view we could ask for. From the balcony we could almost see fish in the tide pool, and we did see dolphins just 100 yards away!! One of my kids liked the swimming pool so much that she swam almost every single day. Tide pool just downstairs was very fun!

We loved being right on the water, sitting on the lanai watching the surfers and listening to the waves. Most of the coastline is lava rock but this location did have a small beach, not crowded. We loved how the bedroom had the option to open up to the living room and both shared the large lanai. The town of Kailua-Kona is a couple miles away. I would recommend a rental car if staying here or anywhere else outside of town. That allowed us to easily visit the whole island but we did see a lot of people walking in the area.
