Great location the host was super very friendly and helpful . yes the place needs a little work but for the price there is no better place hope to rent this place again on our next trip to Hawaii

I’ll list our concerns about the property:
• Meandering ants in the bathroom and kitchen
• Smell of wet cat fur when we first checked in
• We killed one cockroach on the stairway when we first checked in
•Unit needs to be cleaned more thoroughly (floors were dirty, need more dusting , etc)
• Termite droppings by the master bedroom closet door and the bathroom door
• Nice view from the balcony but I don’t know if it’s safe to be out there
• The door to the balcony could not close good, big openings on the top of door frame
• The door to the bathroom could not close good, made an attempt to close it but was showered with termite droppings
• Bathroom towels smelled of smoke
• Comforter had a stain on it
• The bed in the smaller bedroom sagged in the middle
• I tried sitting on the sofa in the living room and needed help getting up
• No soap and hair dryer in the bathroom
What worked
• The air conditioners in the bedroom
• The refrigerator and microwave, did not need to use the stove
• We had hot water for bathing but we did not turn on the cold water tap
Overall, the unit is really run down and needs a lot of work. We treated our unit as a stay in a mountain cabin.
