Hosts were very responsive to text communication. The geckos were very friendly too, and stayed outside during our visit. 10/10 would stay again.

Waking up to the Pacific rolling rhythmically in the backyard, cooking in the well equipped kitchen, reading in the hammock, swimming. It was amazing!

We’ve never had a better vacation than this stay at Hale Mar on the Big Island! The house is right in the ocean with waves crashing into the cliffs or rolling gently. The sapphire blue ocean contrasted with the lush green jungle is a colorful delight! We actually cancelled a couple of activities because the property is SO relaxing we just swam in the pool, soaked in the hot tub and genuinely enjoyed each others presence. Hale Mar and the staff at Salt Water gave our family just what we needed. Thank you!

We’ve never had a better vacation than this stay at Hale Mar on the Big Island! The house is right in the ocean with waves crashing into the cliffs or rolling gently.
