Whomever manages the resort listings on VRBO does not keep the site updated to inform potential clients of availability. We booked a room (aka “requested a reservation”) and waited the VRBO standard 24hrs for the “owner” to confirm. This was a last minute booking but again, VRBO showed plenty of rooms available. The DAY we landed on Kauai we got a cancellation email stating “non-availability”. Anecdotal but later we find out a friend had tried to book the same resort and had zero luck in being able to talk to anyone about their trip. Will actively avoid using this company. Strongly suggest others avoid at all costs. FIND SOMEWHERE ELSE TO STAY!!
