Welcome to the perfect tranquil getaway in Volcano, where the only sounds you’ll hear each morning are the birds singing and the coqui frogs calling. Set on almost two lush acres, this home features not only a secluded setting, but also a location just over a mile from Hawaii Volcanoes National Park. Natural reserves, wildlife refuges, tropical forests, and nature sanctuaries are all around as well.
At home, you’ll find a private lanai outside and an open-concept living space inside, featuring modern furnishings, a gas fireplace, and high ceilings. After a day of outdoor adventures, come home to the full kitchen with some local groceries and make yourself an al fresco meal to enjoy on the lanai together. After dinner, grab one of the many board games for more together time. Rest easy in one of three bedrooms, dreaming of tomorrow’s outdoor adventures.

Guests must climb many stairs to access the home.
Parking notes: There is free parking available for 2 vehicles.

Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.

If you’re looking to visit the volcano or just need to relax this is the perfect place. The cabin itself was clean, spacious and I love the rustic feel of it. I highly recommend this place if you’re just want to decompress, vacation or want to go on endless hikes at the Volcano National Park.

Serene, beautiful, very clean home. Comfortable for our 3-generation weekend getaway. Lots of towels. Had a hiccup with the blue tooth controlled gas fireplace (found the needed spare batteries to ignite after a cold night), and did not realize that the water was not recommended to drink prior to arriving, but in general would highly recommend!
