~ Location, Location, Location: In less than 150 footsteps (from the front door), you can not only be at the beach but you can actually be in the ocean! ;)
The only beach in Maui that used to be reserved for Hawaiian Royalty is directly across the street from the condo (less than 150 footsteps from your front door). It is a very popular beach for canoeing, kite surfing, viewing sea turtles and whales, or simply basking in the sun. Picnic tables, grilling areas, free parking, and outdoor showers are all available at the beach across the street. Do as much as you want or as little as you desire. ;)
~ The National Humpback Museum and Whale Education Center for Maui is just steps away (directly across the street from the condo). They offer free educational classes and plenty of free, outdoor telescopes so you can get an up close and personal view of the Humpback Whales swimming and jumping in the ocean just in front of the museum.
The longest beach walk in all of Maui is in Kihei (within 2 blocks from the condo).

Everything was amazing! From the time we walked in the door the first day until it was time to leave we enjoyed the place. This were clean & things were labeled so it was easy to find stuff. The short little walk to the beach was just what we were looking for. Got to enjoy watching the sunset several times (Including seeing a sunset wedding one night & an engagement the next night!)
I would definitely recommend & would stay here again.
