The unit was perfect and everything we needed and wanted. The grounds and beach are lovely. Really enjoyed close proximity to Coconut Marketplace and 5 mile round trip walk to downtown mostly along the coastline. Super convenient access to Lava Lava. Enjoyed our stay and would stay again.
We had a wonderful stay here returning to Lae Nani just a few units away from where we celebrated our honeymoon a little over 32 years ago. So fun to relive those moments, felt like traveling back in a Time Machine. A beautiful location next to the ocean.
This location is perfect for sunrises, beach and pool time, a quick walk to Lava Lava Beach Club for food and drinks, a short walk to the Coconut Marketplace where you can shop and get more groceries! The addition of AC to the unit was just wonderful! The condo is tucked back away from the pool area so it is nice and quiet. We will be back again for our 3rd stay at Lae Nani soon!
This is the 2nd time I have stayed at Lae Nani. The unit I rented this time is perhaps one of the older buildings and due for an upgrade. Each time I entered the unit I was hit with a heavy mildew smell. Also the heat pump went off and on loudly in the bedroom bathroom, which was annoying. The metal slatted windows in the kitchen and off the decks were discolored like the metal was wearing down (white blotches). I loved my first experience in building 5 and was looking for a 1 bedroom this time. I love this place but I was uncomfortable with these issues.

This was the nicest condo we have rented. It was so well appointed and the amenities were all in excellent condition. Bed was comfortable. Kitchen well stocked with nicer things. Location on the island excellent. Walking distance to great restaurants and centrally located to explore the island. We will be back this is a beautiful property with amazing pacific and mountain views. AC a big plus.
This property was great! The condo was updated, well maintained and well stocked. The grounds were absolutely beautiful. The condo was located within a very short walk of three good restaurants and a market. A Safeway was close by. Kapa'a is well situated on the island so that you can take a day trip north and a day trip south. I would absolutely recommend it.
I have been going to Kauai for 16 years and stayed all over the island. This was the worst experience that I have had. The property is beautiful and in a great location, but the full time residents made me fell unwelcome and uncomfortable. The gate codes got changed 1 day after my arrival and I was not notified. And then 1 day after returning to my unit a man was coming out of it! I was given no notice that ANYONE would be entering the unit during my stay! He said that he was there to inspect the unit which was very suspicious. There is not method to lock the door from the inside all you have is a code. I felt unsafe after that incident. The management company for that unit had not been made aware of any inspections that would require entrance to the unit. I usually don't leave reviews but this time I felt it was necessary. I would not stay here again.
The unit and complex are great! Great location, great views (especially from the balcony), a good sized pool, beautiful landscape and grounds, and a beach that has both enough waves to be able to surf but also a calm protected area for our 1-year old to wade in.
Unit is comfortable, cozy, and as advertised. The kitchen is very well equiped (with a lot of the miscellaneous equipment and tools that some units might lack). Also worth calling out that the place has an fully stocked spice rack which is great so as not to have to buy miscellaneous seasonings from the grocery store when you're only going to use a tiny amount for one meal.

Property was clean and Location/grounds were great. Had a a 15 minute delay with access code not working after the time of check in.
Cindy was amazing. We reported an issue and she took care of it the same day. Great location. Condo was very well appointed. Upscale kitchen and baths. New AC was great to have with sun hitting condo in afternoon. Most of the time did not need, had wonderful breeze. Location within the complex was conveniently located for parking and laundry. Great place to stay!
My husband and I stayed at this lovely condo for 10 days and wish we could have stayed longer. The condo was well equipped and the view from the deck was great to wake up to each morning. The beautiful landscaping and grounds are well maintained. The beach area at the condos is a little small, but still usable and never crowded. You can take a short walk to Waipouli Beach and the Lava Lava Beach restaurant. The location of this condo is another reason we stayed here, since it is close to the middle of the island and ideal for exploring the North and South shores. Communication with the management company was easy and quick. We can't wait to go back soon!
Third floor so it was a little warm at first but once we opened all the windows there was a nice breeze coming through. Portable air conditioner in the bedroom was nice

We enjoyed our stay very much on the property. It was clean and right on the beach. My only complaint was there was only air conditioning in the bed room so it got hot during the day in the living room. Other than that, it was a great stay!

The unit has everything that you need to enjoy a perfect vacation in Kauai. The bed was comfortable, the kitchen was extremely well equipped and had lots of extras in the cupboards like spices, food containers for picnics, food wraps etc which avoided us having to buy these. It was very breezy during our stay (beginning of March) so we rarely used the air conditioner in the bedroom. The Smart TV allowed us to enjoy Netflix and Prime in the evenings. We also appreciated the outdoor items which were supplied such as picnic cooler, beach chairs and snorkeling equipment.
The grounds of Lae Nani are beautifully maintained, the saltwater pool was warm with lots of lounging beds on the pool deck.
It’s easy to walk along the beach into the local shopping areas and cafes- breakfast at The Lava Lava Beach Club was delicious with a direct beach front view; watch out for the birds who will try to steal the food right off your plate!
