The cottage was exactly what we were looking for for our stay on Maui. It was private, quiet and a completely different speed and atmosphere from what you find near the beach. The cottage is very well maintained and you can clearly tell that the owners take pride in their property. It is quite a ways up the mountain, so be prepared for driving the winding roads.
WARNING - You will not want to leave. This place is an absolute gem of a find. Shems was very communicative and made check in/out a breeze. The kitchen is well stocked with coffee, spices, etc. they even left us a bottle of wine, banana bread and honey from their own bees!! Everything was clean and cute. The view from the balcony was incredible. If we ever make our way back to Maui, this will be the only place we stay.
This is a beautiful property centrally located for all of the many activities we had scheduled for our visit to Maui. The home was clean, very private, and just as advertised. The owners have tried to make everything you could possibly need available, including beach chairs, snorkel gear, boogie boards, ice coolers, beach towels, etc. It is a great property and one I will use again if traveling to Maui.

Our stay was as pictured in every way! Cottage was stocked and well-appointed. The star gazing from tub on porch was exceptional, as was drinking morning coffee listening to the birds and roosters. Mahalo for kicking off our 20-anniversary trip in such a special way. Lifelong Maui upcountry fans now!
My wife and I enjoyed our stay at this cottage. The property and amenities were accurately described, and the view was even better in person! I highly recommend this property
peaceful stay in the country. nicely furnished - check out the thai carved-wood mirror frame! pretty grounds. shems is very responsive and helpful. takes about 30 minutes to get down the hill.

I would personally choose this place over any luxury resorts. I was amazed as soon as I entered the cottage because of the well thought music from Bose speaker, the scent, overall the gorgeous cottage. Really liked the energy of this place

My new husband & I visited Hawaii on our honeymoon & stayed in this incredible cottage. The view is absolutely breathtaking. To be able to wake up to the sunrise each & every day was a dream come true for us. The hosts are so nice & left a little welcome basket for us! We absolutely LOVED this place & hope to come back. Cannot recommend enough:))
