So quiet and peaceful! Our studio room was large, clean, and tasteful, with a generous welcoming food basket. Breakfasts were lovely! We had enjoyable talks with both owners, and their friendly, generous five-year-old daughter, and visited with their rescue deer, goats, and miniature donkeys.Staying in this upcountry setting made it much easier to drive up to the summit of Haleakala, and see some native birdsat Hosmer’s Grove.We will certainly come again!Laura and George

So quiet and peaceful! Our studio room was large, clean, and tasteful, with a generous welcoming food basket. Breakfasts were lovely! Our experience staying in here was fantastic! From the moment we arrived, we felt welcomed and special. The property is beautiful, curated with great taste and makes you feel like a VIP with every little detail. Extremely clean and well maintained, they think of everything you might need for an amazing vacation and they provide it for you. Beach towels, beach chairs, pool towels, cooler, snacks in the room, a bottle of sparkling wine, and a Maui Gold pineapple (!) are part of the welcome package when you arrive. The breakfast is delicious, and you enjoy it with a great view! The pool is heated and the hot tub is a great way to relax after a day of hiking. This felt more luxury and curated than the fancy resort we stayed at just a few days before. But I also enjoyed the quiet and independence we had at the property. And with a total of 4 rooms, it never feels crowded. We would definitely come back to this place and we are already recommending it to all our friends! Thanks for a great stay!

The most relaxing, beautiful area. The breakfast was amazing. The sunsets were absolutely stunning. The room was so comfortable. I would HIGHLY recommend.

We stayed in the Makani suite and everything was as expected. Very comfortable bed, which is very important when staying away. It's quite high up from the coast, we were seeing about a 10-15 (F) degree temperature drop from the coast which was just about OK when we were there but would be beneficial in summer. The breakfast was fixed menu options (different each day) and was delicious but this might not suit everyone. The hosts were very friendly and welcoming. If you don't have a satnav, research the route beforehand because it's a bit out of the way and we got lost a couple of times. Very nice place, we would recommend.

We spent a perfect 3 days at the North Shore Lookout. Their breakfasts were amazing as was the outdoor hot tub spa. Views overlooking the south shore were incredible, they are nestled in the upcountry away from hustle and bustle of touristy Maui. We enjoyed every minute. Mahalo!

Our stay here was amazing! My cousin and I chose to vacation on Maui for a relaxing getaway and this B&B did not disappoint!
The location is removed from the hustle and bustle, so we felt a little secluded (in the best way). It was quiet, and the view is stunning. The grounds are beautiful and incredibly inviting. We spent time by the pool, in the hot tub, and sitting by the fire pit soaking up the amazing weather and overall atmosphere.
Since the location is more centrally located, it was easy to get to other areas of the island for the day. Our hosts had wonderful suggestions for beaches, restaurants, etc. Which brings me to the staff!!! They are WONDERFUL! So kind and welcoming. We were greeted with a welcome bag that had beach towels and a custom tag with our names. They were very communicative and clear about any instructions to check in, operate things arrive the property, etc.
I cannot stress this enough... The breakfast is AMAZING. We genuinely looked forward to it every morning. Lattes, smoothies, and always a delicious, freshly made breakfast item. We were blown away.

We wish that we had booked a couple more nights in heaven.
Everything here was perfect, seriously it could not have been any better. It takes a lot to get a 5 out of me and North Shore Lookout deserves a 6 out of 5.

I almost don’t want to share for fear of not being able to book it when I want it next go around but this place was too good to keep to myself. We could not find one thing to be dissatisfied with. The ow era did a great job of anticipating guest needs and desires and making sure they were met. Little details down to “aloha” written in the stored blanket on the closet shelf made this stay magical! You will not be disappointed with your experience here.
