On the 3rd and top floor. There is no elevator but it's a nice gentle open air staircase. The top floor is the best... quieter than lower floors, better breezes and nice views out toward the ocean from the breezeway.

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: My wife and I traveled over 3 days early in front of our 3 children and grand baby. We just needed a smaller place for that time period and chose this place.We found the accommodation as advertised. It is conveniently located to town, just a short walk. The complex was very clean and quiet.

This is our second stay at Kona Mansions. Property managers checked on our stay and were very attentive to our comfort. The only thing that is difficult is that this property has no elevator to upper floors so if you have mobility issues that can be very challenging. Will stay again.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Kona Mansions is a great location, close to the main shops, the trolley stop, and a short walk to two small beaches. Our condo unit was on the top floor with a view of the ocean and sunsets.The unit was small but clean. The bed was very comfortable. Beach towels, chairs and a cooler were provided by the owner, however we had to ask about these items in advance as neither the VRBO site nor Knutson's information package had this information. Further, there is no dishwasher, the couch was dirty and uncomfortable, and we had to hunt for the instructions for the combo washer/dryer.We would have liked to swim in the pool at Kona Mansions but the water was dirty and not inviting. The same for the BBQs: dirty and not usable.Our experience with Knutson & Associates staff was great, and we will be renting a different property from them next year.
