We loved our stay at Kapaa Sands! A great quiet spot with an awesome beach and close to the airport and drivable to all north and south locations on the island. A wonderful and accommodating host and our family of 5 just loved our stay. Be prepared for some roosters, but it's all part of the experience.

We really enjoyed our stay at this beautiful home. It does get hot in the house without AC. The fans helped but it was still hot. However we did enjoy our stay and would stay here again.
Overall the condo was well kept with easy access and great communication from the owner. Centrally located and beach access all around. Lots of amenities for a family.
We had a fantastic time in this Kapaa Sands unit thanks to its proximity to ocean and beach, easy walking distance to food, and central location on the island which made it easy to get to both ends of Kauai during a stay. Checking in and out were super easy and the property manager was responsive to questions. I'd happily stay here again in the future. Thanks for helping make our trip great!
We loved this little condo. It was in a great location and so close to your own personal little bay which is great for kids! My only complaint is that little information given at check-in. No book in home with information about the condo-where items can be found, codes to laundry room and basic check out instructions. Had to keep messaging the host for this information when it should been readily available.
We had such a great time staying! The place was super cute and cozy. We enjoyed the wild chickens/ roosters roaming around, the lizards, and the sound of the ocean.
My only complaint is that the dang rooster doesn’t under stand when it daylight and he loved waking us up earlier than we would have liked lol, but it was great being up early to enjoy the view!
Would definitely stay here again.
This is our third time staying at Kappa Sands with our small family. We absolutely love it. The beach is perfect for young kids, walk down the beach and the surf is perfect for riding waves. The pool is as always an attraction. We have family meals with all the kitchen appliances you need and a big refrigerator. The life is so sweet at at our little piece of aloha.
This is the perfect home base for a lovely time on the island. From a wagon to pull all the gear to the beach, to a beach bag and coolers to take your stuff! Worth every penny. Enas is helpful, kind, and easy to get ahold of.
Centrally located with a perfect view from either lanai. Perfect for our family of 4.
False advertising!! Not on beach. Had an upstairs no where was that mentioned. Cockroaches and lizards in condo. VERY SMALL. Could NOT get ahold/response from owners. Bedspreads were very old. Shower door didn’t work Needs painted. CLEANED UP!!!
My favourite place to stay. Love being so close to the ocean. Chilling upstairs or downstairs watching the waves. Very private and relaxing. Has everything you’re looking for. I would not bring kids under 5 here again. Grandkids 2&3 had a great time but not really suitable for them.
Property was just as we expected and exactly what we wanted. 2 bedrooms were super convenient for our small family of 4 - two couples. The upstairs had the bedrooms and the downstairs had the kitchen and living area. Easy access to the water, beach and amazing views. The host was INCREDIBLE and very responsive! Thank you - we'll be back!
