I checked in late after arriving into HNL at 7:30pm HST. Immediately felt comfortable - gated property, private entrance, obviously remodeled with new kitchen appliances, beatiful full bathroom w zero-entry shower (no basin or lip to step over). Fab breakfast in the am. Super comfy bed. Kitchen has just what you need. Easy to reheat leftovers; plenty of counter space for food, etc. Lovely spot outdoors for relaxing - loveseat and coffee table - fell asleep out there one evening! Great location near Nico's in Kailua with everything needed in shopping center across street and quick 5-10 min drive to center of Kailua. Short walk to beach; Kailua is probably one of the most beautiful beaches on O'ahu. LOVE the hosts - such aloha and malama (care) for their guests. Would absolutely recommend to anyone who wants a premier location in Kailua, lovely accomodations, with privacy and much aloha from hosts! Great job LaBellas!!!
Terrific location. The beach supplies and towels were great to have. Gabriel was such a wonderful host. We enjoyed the delicious breakfasts and nice outside area.Unfortunately, there was a plumbing issue while we were there (previous guest’s kid had put toy down toilet). While it was disruptive to our stay, they did get a Plummer and cleaned up after the work, which we appreciated. We would definitely stay there again! Loved our visit!
Really enjoyed my stay at La Bella’s serene atmosphere. I felt very welcomed, and Shannon & Gabriel were very helpful what ever the question. Breakfast was heavenly, and every detail in the living space was thought and designed. Definitely coming back !
We absolutely loved The Turtle Suite.. Safeway and Starbucks and has and Poke bowls directly across the street . You could walk to beach but we found it easier to drive . Absolutely stunning beaches anywhere from 4 min drive to 20min drive - take your pick! We loved Kailua Beach and Waimanalo . Easy drive to both Airport and North Shore. The most comfortable bed and sheets ever( I purchased online immediately and I’m picky !) Hosts could not have been more welcoming . Breakfast is delicious and organic- I will miss it ! Will stay again without question!
A great place in Kailua, Oahu for three nights on a 10 day trip with my 14-year old son, as we explored Hawaii on holiday. Shannon and Gabriel were amazing hosts and had thought of everything we needed and a lot more!
Stayed for 5 nights in the Honu room. The room is really well done, super clean and has almost everything you need. Note that it is a bit smaller than the Dolphin room, so if they are the same price, I would book the Dolphin room. Beds are some of the most comfy you'll find even better than a lot of nice hotels.
Be aware, the rooms are attached to the main house where the hosts live. You will hear occasional noise from the main house, but not much, and less than you would at any condo or hotel. And...the hosts are amazing! Gabe and Shannon are a big bonus and will help you out with anything you need. You'll feel like part of the family.
House is about 7 min walk to the Castles beach which is a great beach and not as crowded as others. You have any beach item you could ever need at your disposal.
Across the street is a small shopping area with Starbucks and a great ramen place (forgot the name). Also, hosts pointed out that poke bowl in the liquor store was amazing and it was the best we found on the whole trip.

The entire place was very clean, they had beach chairs, umbrellas, snorkel gear, bikes, body boards, etc. for use. The breakfast was plentiful with very fresh fruits, cheeses, croissants, yogurt and sliced turkey. The hostess was very accomodating, a great experience.
