Hale Malie has spacious high vaulted ceilings, convenient split level floor plan, large lanai with partial ocean views. Amenities include tennis courts, several swimming pools, BBQ area, and discounted golf prices at the Waikoloa Village Golf Course - all without the daily resort fees!
Hale Malie is centrally located to many of the amenities and popular destination points on the Island including Mauna Lani, Waimea, Hawi, Kailua-Kona, and less than an hour from Hilo. When it comes to beaches, our townhome is near two world class beaches and are recognized as top beach destinations of all the Hawaiian Islands. Hapuna Beach and Kauna’oa (Mauna Kea) Beach which are a short drive away. These are just two of the many beaches nearby.
The townhome is a 3 bedroom with 3 full baths. The master bedroom features a King sized bed and large dresser. The master en-suite bathroom is large with lots of counter and drawer space and a walk in shower. The second bedroom features a Queen sized bed and dresser. The second bathroom is adjacent with tub and is also where the washing machine and dryer are located, along with cleaning supplies and lots of extra towels including beach towels. The third bedroom is upstairs in the loft, with two Twin beds. The en-suite bathroom contains a shower.
The living area is comfortable and equipped with lots of seating, including two comfy lounge rockers. The full kitchen is stocked with coffee, tea, utensils, appliances, pots & pans and everything you need to feel at home. The dining area seats 4 at the high top and 3 at the bar. You can also enjoy time outside on the lanai where you can enjoy the gorgeous Waikoloa sunsets with a view that opens out to the peaceful golf course and ocean views in the backdrop. The townhome is stocked with beach chairs, beach mats, coolers, and boogie boards for your convenience.

Communication with the owner was great from start to finish; including his help in arranging for an extra key when my group and I found ourselves on separate day trips that ended at different times with only one key being on the other side of the island with me. The sunset views from the patio are breathtaking. There is a plaza a few minutes drive away, with a grocery store, gas station and food court. Another shopping center is being built across the street from that. Many beaches and resorts are within 10-15 minutes drive.
The condo was stocked very well for our large group; including all of the paper towels, toilet paper, laundry soap and dishwasher soap/pods that we needed for our two week stay. The condo has plenty of room to spread out, three bathrooms for quicker showers for a group between beach time and dinner events, two nice pools with bbqs and refrigerators poolside. The condo also has plenty of beach towels, beach supplies and small coolers. Our only “complaint” would be that the only air conditioning is three mobile room coolers. One in each bedroom, that require water and ice to work, and won’t do a lot of good anyway. (In my opinion.)
We adjusted though and kept the patio doors opened (screens shut to keep critters out) almost full time, along with open windows, and there are plenty of ceiling fans to help as well. The kitchen was well stocked with a regular coffee maker, k-cup maker, toaster, plenty of dishes, plates, utensils, pots/pans, kettle, etc. Overall, we had an amazing stay at this condo and would absolutely stay again in the future!!
