Mauna Kea Resort announces a $180-million renovation with no rollout plans as of yet, other than the April - November 2024 closure of the Mauna Kea golf course under the direction of Robert Trent Jones Jr. with visionary work of Robert Trent Jones Sr. and both sons Reese and Bobby Jr. Other plans include 252 hotel rooms, new spa, and dining venues. Resort pool will close for a short time as they relocated the spa. The resort tells us the renovation will be done in stages and won’t really affect amenities too much.

We had a great time. The house was amazing and in a great location. It was nice to have a private home and all the resort amenities.
