Our family had a wonderful time. The home was beautiful, clean and had almost everything we need! The pool was also very convenient for our children and we cooked almost every day. We very much enjoyed our stay at this property. The home was equipped with everything you could want. The kitchen is incredible with top of the line appliances and every gadget imaginable. There was plenty of room inside and outside for our party of up to 7 to enjoy meals together or apart. All of the rooms are very spacious and comfortable. We spent a lot of time on the lanai enjoying the lovely breezes, ocean views, and occasional visit from a goat grazing on the hill. The pool is a little small but was enough for our needs, particularly since there is a large community pool steps away with workout and common areas. We purchased the resort package which included many amenities at Mauna Kea and Westin Hapuna and made great use of all of them. You do need a car and there are not a lot of restaurants near the property other than at the two resorts but that wasn't a problem. The air conditioning came in handy a few times - there are two controls which we didn't realize until later in our stay. The property manager and owner were very responsive and any questions or issues were addressed immediately. I would recommend this property if you want plenty of room and home away from home on the Big Island.
Our family (grandparents, parents, and kids) loved this house and it made our whole trip so comfortable. This is easily the most well appointed and well supplied rental we’ve ever stayed in. It truly feels like a house that is meant to be lived in, rather than one that has been furnished and stocked for short term rentals. The kitchen is beautiful and has everything you could need (even a knife sharpener!). The pool, hot tub, and pool deck were so comfortable and relaxing. And the outdoor nature shower….i never want to be without it. I cannot recommend this property more highly.
We just returned home from our fourth stay at Waiululua 343. When we arrived and walked in the front door, my youngest grandson declared "We're home," a declaration shared by all of us. The home is in a great location, is super comfortable, and has what is probably the best kitchen I've ever found in a vacation rental. I've already booked our stay for next year.
Beautiful property. Very thoughtfully put together. From the snorkels and beach football in the garage to the kitchen appliances to the technology. Would stay again and again!
This was a return visit to this property for us. It continues to be a lovely home.. beautifully furnished with a fully stocked kitchen to make for an easy home-away-from home experience. We love the access to Mauna Kea beach. Mahalo.

Our family of 8 enjoyed staying in this beautiful villa during our recent December trip. Both the host & property manager were easy to communicate with & addressed any issues or concerns immediately. The home is comfortable & well-stocked, in a quiet neighborhood setting. We would stay here again without hesitation & recommend this property to others. The Christmas tree in the living area was a thoughtful detail for the season.

Our stay at this house was nearly flawless. It is kept up beautifully and the kitchen has anything you could possibly need. We enjoyed the pool in the backyard which is so nice if you don't want to be in a hotel pool. The bedrooms are quite spacious as are the bathrooms. They provided laundry detergent and a great washer/dryer set up. There were plenty of extra towels in the linen closet if needed as well as plenty of toilet paper, not just a "starter" amount and the quality was very good. The master bedroom has a desk and printer which can be used if you need it. There was even paper for the printer. I give this house a 10 rating with two suggestions. One - put clocks in the bedrooms on the nightstand Two - there is no full length mirror and for short people you cannot see much of yourself when dressing. Minor details, just suggestions. The property manager was very responsive to our questions. The home, pool and yard are beautiful. Our family enjoyed the pool and spa, kitchen and outdoor BBQ, multiple gathering spaces, views from the lanai, and the spectacular Mauna Kea Resort Beach and beach bar. We plan to visit again!
This is our third time staying at Richard’s place and it never disappoints. We love the beautiful surroundings and we always enjoy the high end amenities of this spectacular villa and the Mauna Kea resort. We will definitely be back.
I am leery of vrbos because I am picky and we have had a few bad experiences. This house was great. It had everything we needed. It was clean and had a great set up with 3 bedrooms with attached baths. The pool was great and the hot tub warmed quickly when we wanted to use it. The outdoor lanai was great and we loved the sliding doors to the kitchen/dining space. The kitchen had every utensil or appliance we could have wanted. Great location. We loved using the beach club pass to access the beaches and pools. We spent 6 nights and left to spend three nights on the east side. I wish we would have just booked all our nights here and made the drive.
The description is accurate, but as important - the house was very well stocked. Actual sharp knives and nonstick pans in a rental? Heck yes. We plan to come back to the big island, and when we do, this house will be our first choice.
We had a very enjoyable time here and would recommend this place to anyone with a large/extended family or up to 3 couples. The setting is beautiful and the home is furnished with just about anything you would need to enjoy your stay. It is a short drive to either Mauna Kea or Hapuna beach but beware the parking can be challenging unless you get there early. The backyard is beautiful and well furnished with a pool/spa and BBQ/kitchen. We spent a lot of time there. There is also a nice community pool and lounging area nearby. We didn't elect to buy the Mauna Kea amenity package and were glad we didn't. The hotel and beach setting is superb but the hotel is starting a very extensive remodeling until 2025. I would check out first before deciding on this.
All and all we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and highly recommend this place for a larger group.
Wonderful house, terrific kitchen, great view! Our recent stay at this very comfortable Wai'ula'ula villa was a return visit. We love the house and location so much we have already booked for next year! That pretty much summarizes our experience!
Great location, well supplied house
The house was great, and we enjoyed our stay. The kitchen was well equipped for cooking in, which we did a lot of as we have young kids. The pool and jaccuzi were great as we spent a day at the house rather than going to the beach. Overall we would recommend this house, and would stay here again. Thank you!

Our family truly enjoyed our stay at this well stocked and comfortable home. We appreciated that each bedroom had its own bathroom and there was an additional half bath. We used the concierge service to help rent all the items we needed for our baby- so helpful to have it all there on arrival! Easy communication with owner/host.
Really nice house with a fun pool and access to the best beach on the big island. We had a blast.
