My son and daughter-in-law had an incredible honeymoon and absolutely loved the property.
The location overall was beautiful, adjacent to pool complex which was nice for my partner with some mobility issues. Little privacy though as walkway was 10ft from sliders. Beautiful beach access and lovely pool area. Well equipped kitchen, bath. Immaculately maintained inside and out. Would have loved poolside drinks and snack service. Had a magical experience with a monk seal coming to rest within feet of us while enjoying the beachside lounge chairs. Great access to store, Safeway, Starbucks across the street. Overall recommend very easy to work with owners and appreciated TURO vehicle service available too.
Very comfortable home with an easy walk to the beach. The home is right in front of the pool sp rssy access. There was plenty of beach gear to make for a relaxing time at the ocean. Safeway is within walking distance along with several restaurants.
Overall me and my family had a wonderful weekend. Al made the process very smooth from beginning to end and communicated well from the moment I booked our reservation. Check in and check out was super easy. Room was very spacious and comfortable. Huge bathroom with choice of shower or tub and 2 toilets. The kitchen was well stocked with cooking utensils and equipment.Some of the furniture is a little out dated with normal overtime wear and tear and the master bed although more on the firm side was still comfortable. The pull out couch was surprisingly very comfortable and the room was well stocked with enough pillows and blankets for a family of 4. As for the facility, the pool and jacuzzi could use some cleaning. The pool water was very cloudy during our stay, and in the area of the waterfall/cave alot of debris and bubbles collected in that corner. Also, make note that the Oasis restaurant does not open till 4pm. In the room there was a menu for happy hour starting at 3, however the restaurant does not open till 4 and there are no other option for food/drink on site, but Safeway and other restaurants are located across the street. Our stay with Al and Amanda was great and we look forwad to doing another staycation in the near future.
This property is in the perfect location. Easy to get to the north or south but close to shopping and restaurants. Al and Amanda were the best hosts and super responsive with any questions and had impeccable instruction for check in and check out. The condo had everything we needed from beach chairs to coffee filters. The property has beautiful amenities and a great restaurant on site. We will definitely be back in the future. Mahalo

Al was a great host! A couple minor items when we first got there and Shiela who handles maintenance and cleaning were there immediately. Incredible walk out first floor unit next to the pool and sidewalk leading to the beach. Very quiet and private. Your unit has outstanding reflective windows so no one can see in so very private. Pool and beach were very nice. This location is ideal to see both the north and south sides of the island. The airport is only 15 mins away! Safeway across the street was perfect to get stocked up. Loved the island and this unit. Can't wait to be back. Aloha!

Great place to stay if going north and/or south on the island. We did both multiple times. Best to have a vehicle if traveling around. While we did not have kids the resort, pools and slides seemed to be great for families. The stretch of beach was very nice and offered great views, waves, and shade under pacific island trees. Grabbing a quick bite and drink at the beachside bar/restaurant was a nice touch after a long day out as well. Would stay again for sure.
Our first family getaway and our daughter’s first time traveling. It was amazing and everything we could have asked for. When we weren’t busy doing something we were on our private lanai looking for geckos. Place was amazingly clean. Owners were so responsive and kind. Even got us an earlier check in. Forever grateful and can’t wait to go back! Mahalo
Condo was lacking properly functional a/c. Sofa bed would not go back in. Oven constantly 'dinged'. Knives where badly damaged and chipped. Resort pool was beautiful and fun. Area was incredible. Condo needs some TLC, was dissapointing.
The condo is beautiful, equipped with everything we needed and is in an excellent location. There is a convenient shopping center across the street. My only feedback would be that the air conditioning didn’t seem to be doing much. We were asked to check out at 10am sharp, but also to strip the beds and wash the sheets and towels to help out the cleaning staff which is really a big inconvenience in the morning when you’re trying to pack up a family. The owner was good about communication.

5th time in Kauai. We started out in poipu but spent to much of our vacation driving, then stayed near Lydgate park, ( better) but most of the things we like to do are in/near Kapaa. This place was close to everything, grounds are beautiful, great heated pool,gym and hot tubs. The sunrises on the beach are amazing.The apartment comes with all the high end amenities listed. You look out the living room/bedroom window onto the pool which was peaceful and great for kids. The only downer was the fold out sofa was hard to fold in, the owners are uber responsive and sent their local person ( who was really friendly) to fold it up. She and the engineer in our group couldn’t get it to close. The following day she came out again and got it to close but after we reopened it, we couldn’t get it closed again. That made for an uncomfortable space indoor s but fortunately we are outdoor kinda folks. The plates and cups were sparse but they had more appliances at our disposal than what I have at home. This is the first VRBO I’ve stayed at that stocked enough TP & dish soap for the entire stay. I have a bad neck and back and bed/pillow are comfy!!The resort rents out NICE bikes at a price lower than many of the other bike shops. There’s a Safeway and a GREAT sushi place(went back twice) across the street, the best shave ice on island is at Hee Fats in Kapaa, less than a mile away and the second best place is across the street, at wailua shave ice. Being so close to everything is awesome.

Very nice property. The condo was right next to the pool, which was great. It was also a short walk to the beach, which was wonderful.A recommendation for the condo owner. Have a laminated sheet on the counter, to include such things as where the grills are located, where to find pool towels, a reminder of Wi-Fi password, etc. With no one at the front desk, you have to walk around and ask others for this information.A recommendation for the resort owners to have someone at the front desk. Only once when we were there for a week was there someone present.
The location of the unit within the resort couldn’t be any better. Great in an out access for kids to get to the pool the second they are ready! A breeze to get to the parking lot, the on property restaurant and the beach. We really appreciated the stock of beach chairs, coolers, and floaties, all the things you don’t want to worry about packing from afar. Would love to stay again!
The unit is cozy and beautifully decorated, wonderfully spacious, very clean and well equipped. We were very surprised and appreciative of the generous welcoming gifts left for us. We loved the property and the proximity to the pools and ocean. The grounds are stunning and very well kept.Thank you Al & Amanda for being such great hosts. We would love to return one day!

I thought the pool was great. The grounds were beautiful. I think the only issue I had is it would’ve been nice to get emails along with Vrbo messages. I had to start asking for emails because I missed my second payment. Thank goodness you guys were accommodating that was appreciated
This place was very nice, and in a great location relative to the island! Kapaa is centrally located on the east side of Kauai, which worked out great to call a home base while exploring during our trip.
We ran into some issues with our unit not being cleaned when we arrived, however VRBO and our host were very accommodating and were able to get things resolved for us.
Amenities wise, this resort was also fantastic. The pool area is amazing, and the beach is also great! We've been to a number of resorts that claim they are beach side, but push come to shove it's a very small section that isn't enjoyable to swim in or hang out at. This was not the case here. Beautiful beach area, and also a very nice beachside restaurant!
All in all, this was a great condo at a great resort. We'd defintely stay here again while visiting Kauai!
We had the best time here! The condo was a great space for our family of 4 and had everything we could need.
We greatly appreciated all the beach supplies stocked up - including coolers, chairs, towels, sand toys, snorkel gear, boogie boards. We didn’t have to buy or rent a single thing!
The kids loved that the pool (with waterslides!) was literally steps away. And we all loved the path along the beach as well. We can’t wait to come back!
This was a perfect place for our family of four. Location was great for day trips around the island and the kids loved coming back to the pool everyday. The condo location couldn’t have been better. Hosts responded immediately to any communication. Would definitely come back and rebook.
Waipouli resort is great, the accommodations are top notch. The pool opens at 7 and closes at 10 which is ideal and it wasn’t crowded. We all enjoyed everything
My husband and I stayed here for the first two nights of our honeymoon. I could not have asked for a better host, location or suite. We stopped off at the Safeway across the street when we got here to get food items. On night one I cooked us one of our routine meals using the kitchen items that are available here. This helped us to really unwind from a day of flying. In the morning, I made a pot of coffee using the Kawaii coffee that came with the room. I consider myself a coffee snob, and oh boy, I am a fan of that stuff now! My husband was able to set up his laptop on the dining table. The Wi-Fi was great and easy to connect to. I was a little bit chilly in the morning, so we walked across the street to the ABC store and purchased a hoodie, though the extra blankets that were available in the room were easy to find and fit the bill as well. The ocean is a short stroll from the room and you can see a bit of it from the room as well to watch the waves. The Cuisinart drip coffee maker worked perfectly. I had all of the kitchen items that I needed (Pots, pans, tongs, spatulas, spices, cups, plates, wine, glasses, wine bottle opener, etc). The bed is firm, but ours at home is as well, so it was great for us. I can’t think of anything about this room that I did not like. I would absolutely book another stay here again in the future without hesitation and would recommend it to any of my friends and family.
Had a wonderful time at the resort. Loved that it was in the middle and close to the airport. Enjoyed the condo.
