THE RESORT:
Pili Mai was built in 2019 and features plantation style design, cobblestone drives, tropical gardens, a large swimming pool, a children's pool, spa and an air-conditioned fitness room. It is nestled between Kiahuna Golf Club and the beautiful Poipu beaches: just 1 mile to Kiahuna Beach. 1.2 miles to Brennecke's Beach, 1.8 miles to Lawai Beach, and 2 miles to Shipwreck Beach.
THE CONDO:
14-J is a garden level, single floor spacious vacation villa with a fully appointed granite and stainless-steel kitchen, tons of counter space, a huge central island with casual counter seating and tons of storage for your groceries. NO STEPS! The easy walk-out lanai opens directly to a verdant lawn bordered by tropical flower beds. The sofa sleeper folds out to a queen bed, so while this unit is perfect for 6 guests- it can reasonably accommodate up to 8 with management approval. Beach chairs and other accoutrements are in their own locker near the front entrance of the unit for easy access as you load up for the day's adventures.
THE PEACOCK SUITE boasts a King bed, Smart TV, walk-in shower with mosaic tile floor, walk-in closet, double-sink granite vanity and separate water closet.
THE PINEAPPLE SUITE features a King bed, Smart TV, and its own full bathroom with soaking tub/shower combo and single-sink granite vanity.
THE KEIKI ROOM is versatile and is customarily set up as two twin beds. It can be rearranged as another King if you will provide advanced notice.
The third full bathroom is accessed from the living area and features a soaking tub/shower combo and single-sink granite vanity.

Condo was very nice, spacious rooms, well appointed kitchen. Nice amenities and walkable to shops, Starbucks, restaurants. It was a very comfortable home away from home

This condo was clean, comfortable, and fit our family of six (2 adults, 4 kids including an infant) perfectly. One of the master bedrooms even had a large closet that was great for putting our crib and baby.
The kitchen was very well stocked with everything we needed for cooking for a family - we made lunch and dinner there every day and night. When we had an issue with the oven, the property manager helped us, and was very responsive.
The location is minutes away (walking or driving) from shops, a delicious coffee stand with amazing açaí bowls, markets, and beaches.
Our only complaints are that initial communication with the host upon booking was very poor; I asked a few times if there was a travel crib so we didn’t have to travel with ours, and never heard back until the day we arrived, which wasn’t helpful.
The other thing is that this property doesn’t have access to the nearby athletic club, which has an amazing family pool, and cool open gym (which is important to us because we workout everyday). That was a big bummer. But we were told the condo is on the waitlist, so if by the time you’re reading this, they’ve been able to get a partnership with the club, know that it’s a great amenity. The pool in Pili Mai is nice though.
Overall a great stay in Kauai.

This property was the perfect family stay. We were able to have an ADA accessible room and enough space for 4 young adults. The location was perfect and process to check in was so easy. Beds were very comfortable. Would recommend!

My family and I enjoyed our stay. We spent every morning drinking coffee on the lanai and every afternoon in the pool. The facility was clean, spacious, and it had all the amenities (kitchen items, pool and beach toys, towels, etc.) that we could have asked for. Thanks for a great trip!

We had a great time at this location. It was off the main highway and quiet and also close enough to pop into food or the beach at any time. They unit itself was spotless and well stocked. Having three rooms and three bathrooms worked really well for everyone in our party to have their own space and an fun shared space as well. I even had a little work to do and the office space and desk were perfect. Enjoyed the weight room and the pool was never too packed.

The property was new and well maintained. Great kitchen setup, everything we wanted. One or two extra chairs in the living room would have been ideal. Instructions were clear and complete. Pool area was a huge hit with the kids who enjoyed the novel (to them) experience of swimming in warmish water while Kona rains poured down. The adults preferred the large hot tub. The beach chairs, towels and umbrella were in great shape. Great place, comfortable beds, would happily return.
