We loved the location. Close to the beach and pool. There are a lot of steps to get into the place and several steps in the home. My husband fell going down into the patio (luckily, he has strong bones) and twisted his ankle. We were disappointed with the unit as it appeared like it hadn't been kept up. The pictures were decieving. I've never given a negative review and don't like to but this was not what I was expecting.

This was our 3rd visit to Kauai - first time in Jan./Feb. and this condo. It was a wonderful time to be there. The condo is as advertised in every way, access challenging for those with mobility issues, great beds, roomy shower, welcoming outdoor spaces, etc. For us, the 2 level dining/living room design was unfortunately a big "downfall" as there was nothing - including furniture or safety tape- to make the steps between the 2 spaces obvious and since the ac control was right on the wall at the top of the steps I focused on that and immediately had a bad fall down the 2 steps and broke my wrist the first night within 5 minutes of arrival - greatly limiting planned hiking and beach time for our month vacation. Seemed preventable with tape on 2 step edges (steps visually blended right into floor surface in both dining and living room) or a piece of furniture placed near steps to give new renters a chance to adjust to the set-up. We later moved a bedroom chair to the living room at the bottom of the steps for a visual break. Would we return - absolutely! But after sending information to Vacasa following our trip hoping to encourage them to make a couple of easy safety adjustments, we were very disappointed to not hear a single word back from them. Considering the VRBO service charges, we expected at least a recognition that they would check out ways to address this safety issue. The EMT's said that they had dealt with this issue way too many times at lovely Pu'u Poa.
Wonderful and beautiful condo. Fair warning. If u have mobility issues this location will be a challenge. Though u would think since the condo is on the ground floor which one would assume it would be easy access, but there are a ton of steps and walking to get to it after you park your car. Upon arrival, we had all our suitcases including groceries from Costco. My husband who has a bad back and hips had a very challenging time. I seriously thought he was going to pass out so if anyone in your party has mobility issues, be warned and consider looking elsewhere. Other than that, the condo was very nice. Our coffeemaker broke. We called and they immediately replaced it but it was a used one. U would think that Vacasa would afford a new one, right?
Clean and accessible to shopping, 1 Hotel, North Shore Beaches. Very good price!
A wonderful location in Princeville!
Property has great views, and the grass level of the fist floor is the best.
Issues VACASA was contacted night one about no hot water, the following morning I was told to find the breaker and check it. It was not tripped and when I cycled it, it made an unsettling "BUZZ / electrical sound" that should not be heard.
So we shut it down and informed VACASA which the rep said they would send a plumber out... I informed them that I didnt think it needed a plumber. I was told on day two the plumber came out and fixed the problem... still no hot water. Once again contacted VACASA via their app with a rep that had no idea what was going on. At the end of day three no hot water contract VACASA via the app again and was informed they were working on it. Day 4 the host should up and said he was sorry for what was going on and checked the panel and said the breakers were bad and he was going to go get new ones. He also advised us to stay away from that area of the condo because of the hazard. He arrived back and switched it all about and advised that the water heater would take a couple hours to heat up. I am happy to report that night 5 we finally had hot showers.
VACASA as a management company did a poor job representing the owner of this property. VACASA said we will be receiving some type of partial refund for the issue... I guess its a wait and see.
Loved the luxurious indoor spaces (bedrooms, kitchen, dining space, bathrooms, living room)!
Loved the prime location! We walked down to both Hideaways and Pua Poa beaches -- just excellent beaches!
Loved quick access to grocery store in Princeville (short drive) and to the main highway for other adventures.
We loved having 2 lanai too. So cool!
What could be improved:
Some little things but could help families in the future: there were no potholders;
there was no medium sized pot for cooking (small one, and larger ones);
the 4 wooden coasters left us with puddles on them from our many glasses of ice water (stone coasters that soak up water would help / or fabric coasters) -- we just wanted anything that soaked up the water from glasses and protected the lovely wooden coffee table and dining table.
And more generally about the two lanai / patios: they were fine and simple-- we used the chairs/foot rests and the loveseat and couch and enjoyed the view. But there was a general sense of neglect in the first lanai at the entrance. For instance, one large pot on the lanai (near the grill) was broken on the bottom and just had a rusted hole, which kept leaving more bits of rust if I swept near it. Next, the shrubs and plants on this first lanai were not maintained--they all needed to be trimmed, as it looked like several months of irregular growth on the shrubs. We overlooked it, but it's odd at such an otherwise elegant home.
This rental was in the perfect place, lower level, next to the pool and Hideaway Beach, the 1 Hotel, and a Pizza restaurant. It was perfect for me and my family. The condo was clean with a view of the ocean. I loved the sign "take your shoes off" before entering. We do that at home. Thank you for your incredible hospitality. It was smooth, relaxing, and wonderful vacation!
This location was beautiful! The location was perfect with a beautiful view and spectacular sunsets! 🌅 I would stay here again.
The condo was beautiful, clean, spacious, quiet, peaceful, everything you want. The property was well maintained & very clean, & ample parking. Unfortunately, there was no mention about staircases in the online info & I booked this ground floor condo as I was traveling with my 89-year-old mom & needed to avoid staircases. There is a very long walkway (from the parking lot) which includes several steps, and then (approx.) 25-30 additional steps to the ground floor. This was a hardship for my mom & to say I was displeased about this would be an understatement. It stands to reason that a ground floor unit would not include staircases unless it's specifically stated in the listing. I read the info about the unit again on the flight home & could not find anything about staircases to a first-floor unit. This may not be a hardship for everyone, but I wanted to include it in my review as it may be helpful information another family. The front door lock was very hard to open, & I needed to call customer service upon arrival for assistance & received immediate assistance. The sliding glass door (on one side) is virtually impossible to open & the cushions on the lanai furniture are stained & very dirty & need to be replaced. All that said, it really is beautiful, & they do provide almost all you need, beach towels, beach chairs, stocked kitchen (minus food of course), etc. I would not stay here again due to the stairs, it's too much with luggage. Please update your listing!
Great location towards end of the road. Beautiful place, indoor and out. Very close to two beaches. View from patio is spectacular. Would DEFINITELY stay here again. CJ

wonderful unit, up-to-date, good air conditioning, clean, and even had Myers hand and dish soap, which was a really nice touch.
We loved the location and the space in the condo. Would definitely return. The microwave didn't work and the coach is squeaky, but otherwise we were very happy with the condo.
Beautiful views, location, quiet neighborhood. Wonderful walking, golf course nearby restaurants nearby, beach nearby. Everything outside of cleanliness was great!
This property is exactly as described. It's large and well appoonted. Plenty of dishes, glassware, cookware and towels. Plenty of paper products, hand siap etc. There were places to sit, relax and enjoy the view. Loved how quiet the area is, this is the perfect spot to relax and unwind. There isn't any snorkeling info, but right next to the pool there is a steep short trail that takes you right down to Hideaway Beach. AMAZING snorkeling. Fish, turtles and few people. This condo is amazing and we can't wait to return.
This was an ideal location on the north side of the island. We had close access to many beaches and hiking spots. There is a grocery store and many restaurants nearby. And you can hear the waves outside all night long!
The condo was very comfortable. We enjoyed the privacy of the unit and the complex. The two lanai were very nice. Spacious master suite, living room and kitchen.

This unit is very nice for a family. Clean. The views are amazing with the grass and ocean off the Lanai. The only issue is that there are friendly geese that mess up the lanai. A garden hose to rinse off the droppings would be great. Still 5 stars. Would definitely return.

We celebrated my daughter's graduation staying in this wonderful home. The ocean views are spectacular, everything you need to have a wonderful vacation. However, the construction noise was a bit disturbing in the mornings during our stay, but the agency made good our complaint. We hope to stay again soon! Aloha
