Welcome to Kona! This spacious, townhouse style condo just steps from the ocean and within walking distance to the heart of Kona has an amazing ocean view from both floors. While it is close to town, the complex is off the main street and has a quiet, serene setting. Wake up to stunning ocean views and enjoy a cup of coffee on your private lanai off the master bedroom where you can observe humpback whales, spinner dolphins, kayakers, paddle boarders and more in your chair!
The first floor offers
-A full kitchen, the kitchen includes a gas stove, full refrigerator, coffee makers, all dishware, glassware, utensils and more.
-A combined dining/living area with smart TV
-In unit washer/dryer
-A half bathroom.
-Air conditioning is available in the living room or you can just open the sliding doors and enjoy gentle ocean breezes. -The advantage of being on the top floor is a better view and you won’t hear noise from people walking on the floor above you
The second floor includes
- A shared full bathroom with shower and tub
- With a master bedroom that provides a comfortable King size bed, ceiling fan, and AC unit.
- The guest bedroom has two Twin Beds, a ceiling fan and a portable AC for your comfort.
- The unit also comes with a queen air mattress that sleeps two people in the living room. It can be pumped within a few minutes.
This unit is 5-10 minute walk to the historic oceanfront downtown Kailua Village. Ali’I Drive is where you would find locally owned small businesses: popular restaurants and bar like “On the Rocks” and “Hugo’s”, Voyage of the Pacific Luau, surf shops, charter boat rental, shave ice store, farmers market etc with incredible sunset views into the Pacific Ocean. It's also walking distance to the annual Ironman competition.
Want to enjoy all the Kona coastal scenery without a car and burn some calories? Bikeshare is available and within walking distance ! Grab a bike from one of the Alii Drive stations, ride and dock it at the same or any another station when you are done. Easy. To get started: Arrive at one of three bike kiosks on Ali'i Drive and use a credit card to get a bike. $3.50 will get you to the most popular destinations on Ali'i drive. Return it to any kiosk within the time you selected. That's it!

This was a great location, close to the water and Kona shops and restaurants. We had a great time!

The stay was OK but some major "amenities" were not available. The internet service in the unit does not work properly. The on-site manager was fast to respond but only to note that the internet issues are a common occurrence that most guests experience. You have to reset the modem every 10-15mins to keep it working. Basically useless. Also we found out that the washer was broken and would not be useable for our stay. There is an onsite washer, but we would have to get quarters from a local shop, then do the wash, then bring it back to the unit to use the dryer. Very inconvenient and we just wanted to wash our stuff while we were out having fun.
I did try to compromise with the owner and ask for a very small refund due to the lack of service we were expecting, but the owner was not accommodating.
So just be careful when renting in case something is not working, it probably wont be fixed and you wont be compensated for the issues.

This property was perfectly located for walking to town and had a nice view of the ocean. Alex and Tiffany were wonderful and accommodating. We had everything that we needed at the condo, from supplies to comfy beds. We would stay here again.

We arrived late, and only stayed one night, but it was just perfect! We woke up to find a great ocean view even! We would definitely book again. Easy to find, great communication.

No laundry liquid was available to clean the sheets before leaving.
The service person left the door open and unlocked all day after I told them to close it.

The owner was awesome with his communication. We struggled with the VRBO platform, but he was patient, and helped us through the process. Once we arrived, we were thrilled with the accommodations. Walking distance to all the cool places, as well as to the beach. Sunset views from the balcony. Thank you for the perfect place to lay our heads!
