Mauna Kea Sunsets is a single-level, upper unit condo that has 2 master bedrooms each with their own bath. There is also a queen sleeper sofa. This home is perfect for families or two couples looking to share a home or families with kids.
The first master has access to the lanai and views of the ocean and King bed. The second master has a two TwinXL beds which can be combined as King with gel topper and views to the mountains. There is also a queen sleeper sofa in the living room and a pack and play and other infant items for little ones.
The living room and dining room open up to a covered wraparound lanai with grill. The large round dining room table will comfortably accommodate 6 people indoors and there is also table and chairs on the outside.
The lanai features lounge chairs and overlooks the 4th hole of the world famous Hapuna Beach Golf course (one of the best in Hawaii). The glass railings ensure you have the largest ocean and golf views possible.
The living room features a large UltraHD TV.
Mauna Kea Sunsets is in a short walk from the Kumulani gated community recreation center and pool. This recreation center has a pool and grills to enjoy and views out to the ocean.
As a Guest in this home, you have the option of registering for the Mauna Kea Club Amenity program for ($120 / day in 2024), ($130 / day in 2025), per group (Not per person) providing you with the opportunity to enjoy exclusive benefits at both the Mauna Kea and Hapuna Beach Hotels. (Advance registration through Paradise In Hawaii and the Hotel required).

From the moment we walked into this condo, all of our stress melted away. The views from the balcony are amazing! Everything in the condo was sparkling and the kitchen was well stocked with a variety of spices along with containers and plastic baggies for left overs. The laundry area was clean and well supplied with detergent and dryer sheets. The bedrooms were spacious with comfortable beds. The garage had everything in it for a fun day at the beach including boogie boards, chairs, umbrellas, coolers and snorkel gear.

We love the location near both Hapuna and Mauna Kea properties, and short distance up into Waimea, or down to Queens/Waikaloa. Property mgmnt was responsive and great in working with us as a couple of minor things came up. Highly recommend.

Unit was well stocked with everything we needed. Nice quiet location and truly beautiful sunsets every evening. Unit had a nice layout and Management company was super easy to work with. We have rented many times in Mauna Kea and this unit did not disappoint.

Our stay in Mauna Kea Sunsets was nothing short of magical. Our family of five had plenty of space, LOVED the well appointed kitchen and took full advantage of watching the beautiful view from the lanai. I highly recommend adding on the daily access to the Mauna Kea resort and beach.

This condo is located directly on the golf course with a view of the ocean. The condo is clean and beds are comfy. There are an abundance of kitchen tools as well as many ocean toys, chairs ,coolers. I would definitely recommend this condo for anyone who is visiting the area.
Also a nice add is the opportunity to have access to both resorts Westin Hapuna and Mauna Kea.

My family and I have been traveling to the Big Island for years and we just love Kumulani. We always participate in the hotel program and after a nice long beach day, coming back to this bright and clean home was amazing. Relaxing on the lanai in the mornings and the evenings was our favorite..... The views are incredible! We would both stay again and recommend to others.

My daughters and I had an absolutely wonderful time staying at this property. The condo was spotlessly clean, spacious, and well appointed. The views of the ocean are spectacular. We paid the modest extra fee for resort privileges at the Mauna Kea and Westin Hapuna Beach resorts, which I would highly recommend. It’s only a 5 minute drive to each resort and you get guaranteed free parking, access to the resorts’ pool, beach, and dining amenities, and charging privileges. Would 100% recommend!
