Location, location, location. The Beach House is the closest rental house to Magics Beach and Magics Grill. Magic Sands Beach is the the most popular beach in town and gets its name from the fact that the sand comes and goes based on the waves. (Really big waves will pull the sand out and small waves build the beach up. In other words, after a big storm the beach sand disappears and will then build back after the storm. Like "magic.") With chairs, boogie boards and beach gear at the house you are only about 100 steps away from the beach area. After you get back from the beach, rinse off the sand with the handy outdoor shower. We have a pool, pickleball court, ping pong table and foosball table. We will built a large gazebo with a table that seats 12-14 next to the pool for large family barbeques. Under the house near the pool and pickleball court is a ping pong table and a foosball table! Family games galore! Look out the windows and check out the waves before you go to the beach. With 4 bedrooms, the house can sleep up to 14. If you want to be in the middle of the action, this is the place. The main living area is on the 3rd floor of the house which offers terrific views. Each of the bedrooms has peek ocean views. The house has air conditioning throughout with the ability to control the temperature in each room. The second floor has two bedrooms (one with a king sized bed and one with queen bunk beds), a full bath, and a separate game room area with a TV (this has a fold down futon style couch.) There is also a washer and dryer on the second floor. The house was remodeled in January 2022 so it offers a lot of newer and upgraded amenities. In addition to the beach being across the street, the house is also across the street from Magic Sands Grill, one of the most popular local places to eat. Enjoy watching the sunsets every evening from the 3rd floor lanai. The yard is fully fenced for additional privacy and there is plenty of parking for multiple cars. The house is centrally located on Alii Drive such that you are less than 2 miles to the Keauhou Shopping Center to the South and about 1 mile from downtown Kona to the North. The 4 bedrooms have 2 king and 3 queen sized beds. There is also a comfortable queen sized futon in the 2nd floor living room, two padded cots and a comfy couch upstairs for additional sleeping options. We completed the pool, gazebo and pickleball court in May 2023....

My daughter and her friends (all age 26+) enjoyed everything about the house. They said it was the easiest checkin they have ever experienced. The house exceeded their expectations on every level! The location was perfect, with the proximity to the beach, bar/restaurant across the street and town. She has already asked if we can rent it again very soon! Thank you for making her pre-wedding vacation beyond her dreams!

For our family, the house location was a dream come true. I could have stayed at the house all day long just watching the waves crash on the shore from the deck. We utilized the beach toys and towels for our beach day, which really simplified packing for us. Ample plugins for all our electronics was also huge! We highly recommend others checking them out and would stay there again if we ever have the chance to head back to the big island again.

We were a group of 11 friends, some singles some couples. Ages 47-58. We had 2 vans that fit just fine in the driveway. One of our couples got married during our stay and the house worked great for us 6 girls to spend the morning getting ready together. We loved the large island and of course the lanai. Location was great and we felt the beaches were even closer than they looked in the photos. The stairs were no surprise but be aware, they can get to be a lot depending on your fitness level.

The house is very convenient to the Magic Sand beach. Well stocked with towels and beach toys. Wish the pool and pickleball court had been ready. Not much room left to turn cars around in the driveway but we managed. Must be physically fit to handle all the stairs. Great stay.

I was extremely happy to see the property was just as advertised and what we wanted. The location was fab just across from the beach, short drive or a medium walk to town. I’d definitely recommend to my friends and family but hesitant as I’d also like to keep it a secret. Thanks heaps Jeff for the quick and informative replies.
