Enjoyed to proximity to Poipu beaches so we could walk and not worry about driving and parking. Loved walking to the beach every day. Home was roomy, comfortable and kitchen easy for cooking. Beautiful gardens around home.
This is a nice home with an ocean view in a great location. I won’t stay at another property managed by this company. We arrived 40 minutes early and needed to wait until check in which was not a problem. We parked across the street and waited. Ten minutes later the cleaners showed up and were gone within 20 minutes. I walked into the downstairs bathroom to find a dead cockroach on the bathroom counter and a dead baby lizard on the floor. Upstairs in the bathroom there was hair on the floor. We pulled a pan out to cook dinner and there was a horrible odor because there was a cooked on piece of what smelled like rotten fish on the bottom of it. I took one of their plastic water containers to the beach which smelled like old fruit juice. The pillowcases upstairs were terribly stained and I couldn’t find any other ones to use. It felt like 150 degrees when we walked in since the AC had just been turned on 25 minutes earlier. I literally could go on and on. If I had paid a cleaning fee I would ask to be refund because this home was not clean when we arrived. Very disappointing.
We loved this location. We’ve stayed in other locations at Poipu this is our favorite so far. The views are gorgeous. A fast 5 min walk to the beach. The home is awesome for staying with friends or kids.

Great property. It’s a large home that was turned into a duplex. The portion for rent has two bedrooms ( one on the main floor and one upstairs). The other half of the duplex is used by the owner, who wasn’t staying there during our visit. It’s a very quiet neighborhood. The house has great ocean views, and a nice deck to enjoy them from. Easy walk down the hill to beaches, and it’s stocked with beach chairs, beach towels, boogie boards, and floaties. Lots of great restaurants nearby. Will rent again!
Property was as described. Had everything we needed ! Beach chairs, floaties and Cooler where a great bonus! Hopefully this won't be our last time at this property!

The house is awesome in many ways, very high ceiling, clean, well stocked kitchen with very cute plates & platters, lots of laundry soap & dryer sheets, the furniture is comfortable, the down stairs bedroom has lovely furniture & is very spacious but the bed could use new sheets, water pours out the bottom of the iron & the shower has a broken shower head that squirts out of the handle that is held on by a clamp. The upstairs bedroom was very nice but some the furniture was a little warn. A windows blown making it cloudy in the dining area & it would have been nice if the decks & screens had been rinsed off & some of the screens come off the tracks because of dirt. The trash gets picked up on Thursday not Tuesday & the garage door is a real challenge to open & close inside & out, sometimes it took 13 tries. All & all we loved drinking Mia Tias on the deck & had great time.

The house was as good, or better than expected. Big, bright. Air conditioner where we wanted it, in bedrooms. As we were only a couple we really never used the upstairs where there was another master bedroom. Good kitchen. If you want to walk to the beach which was close, there is a very steep walk to get to it although we didn't mind and I run miles a day so I liked running up and down but just realize that the hill is there. The people at Kauai Rentals were excellent. We called after hours to try to restore the cable tv service one night and a guy was so friendly and gracious to help us fix it although it was after hours. Any time I called the people were really really nice and helpful and I intend to use Kauai Vacation Rentals from now on. So overall really nice experience.

This was our second stay at this lovely home. It was every bit as amazing as our first. Doesn’t feel like you are staying at a short term rental - feels like coming home. Highly recommend this property if you are staying in Poipu. Great house, great location, rental management company is very responsive with any questions!

Overall the rental was great. Beautiful home. Some minor issues in that the beach umbrella provided was completely broken. We replaced it while staying. Other issue included the blinds completely breaking off the wall when closing them causing an injury. Otherwise very close to ocean!
We had a great stay here, very comfortable beds and living space, great location to walk to Poipu beach. The cleanliness and condition of the property were great.
Lovely and private home within walking distance of beaches (and turtles and seals). A great base for exploring Kauai

Place was very spacious and well stocked for use and cooking. Nice touches like beach chairs, towels, sand toys and boogie boards. Having the garage and outdoor shower was also very convenient. The location was also very nice and it is a very short walk to the water and beach area. A few things were dated and need to be changed or redone but the management was very responsive and I am sure they will adress. Probably the biggest issue in warm months is the master bedroom which is in an open alcove over the LR. It can be sectioned off with pocket doors for noise control (if you have people still awake downstairs) but the ac is in the alcove part and so the bedroom and bathroom portion get quite warm. There is a ceiling fan over the bed however. The downstairs room ac works very well.
