Turn your dreams into lifelong memories at our lovely Hale Hokulani (House of Starry Heavens) #214 at Wailua Bay View on the east side of Kauai - an enviously breathtaking 1 bedroom, ocean-front, ocean-edge condo located for perfect access to all parts of the island, and a spot of heaven you just may never want to leave.

Imagine lounging on the secluded and private lanai (located on the quiet end of the property) where the breaking waves, along with tropical trade wind breezes, glorious sunrises, amazing moonrises, and sparkling night skies will have you lost to all of the cares of the world.

Depending on the time of year of your stay, from the lanai you may get to admire breaching whales off the coast, observe sea turtles swimming or lounging on the beach, watch kite surfers flying through the air, or you may even get to cheer on an outrigger canoe race or two! Plus, in addition to the unobstructed view, guests appreciate the enhanced security and privacy that a 2nd floor unit provides. (Please note - the unit is up one flight of stairs - no elevator). And, when it's time to get out and play, you can walk to nearby shops, restaurants and beaches, rent kayaks and bikes, or hop in your car, private tour, or Kauai bus and head any direction for a day of fun.

THE DETAILS
The unit has had a recent 'facelift', with all new furniture, ceiling fan, carpet, linens, pillows and mattress in the bedroom, new furniture, carpet and ceiling fan in the living room/dining area, and new hurricane windows & sliding glass doors and flooring on the lanai. Plus newly added air conditioning is now in the main living area, too!

The bedroom features a king size bed, a new cool-sleep memory foam mattress, new luxurious linens and pillows, and there is also an air conditioner in the bedroom to cool you down on those warmer nights. The bedroom's double-paned noise reduction windows open to let in the soft ocean breezes, and then close tightly for a peaceful night's sleep. Our stay at the Kauai condo was perfect. Everything from communication before arriving to check out was smooth and easy. The view cannot be beat and the location is easy to access all parts of the island. The condo is the most well-equipped VRBO that we have stayed at. Thanks to Terri and Ron for sharing their pace.

The property was more than we expected. So relaxing just sitting on the lanai, watching and hearing the surf breaking on the beach. The owner was by far the best we have ever worked with.

This was just as described. We agree with the other reviews. It was perfect. We loved the lanai and watching wing surfers. We walked the beach, and appreciated the host us giving us tips on how to purchase breakfast from Passion Bakery across the street. They thought of everything and gave us a nice gift. I do want to order a robe for myself like the one that we were able to use. I think it would be great for hot springs we sometimes visit. This was at the beginning of a trip to Hawaii for a wedding on Oahu, where we met our daughter and son-in-law. We ordered a visit at this place for them when we flew home with our granddaughter, so that they could have some time to themselves at the end of our Oahu visit. They loved it, as well.

I cannot say enough positive things about our stay. The location was perfect, the view unparalleled, the condo was just what we needed, and the service and communication was exceptional. We will be back as often as possible. Thank you so much!

This place definitely deserves all the five star reviews! Inside: tastefully decorated living room and bedroom; super comfortable bed and bed linens; great couch for relaxing; tons of small aesthetic touches that made this unit feel both homey and stylish; every kitchen gadget and beach supply you could possibly need; and a clean walk-in shower with good pressure. Outside: the lanai is perfect, gorgeous view of the water hitting the beach, comfortable chairs, private and so comfortable to sit and watch sunrises and surfers; excellent pool area, with both shade and sun and an adorable tile motif; IMMACULATELY kept grounds - not a speck of dirt, even on sidewalks with beautiful, meticulous landscaping; the only downside is proximity to the highway and resulting car noise but that’s only noticeable in bed bedroom without the a/c on. Hosts: Teri was friendly, super responsive, and provided great advice about local spots to eat and hang out! My husband and I are already conspiring about when we can come back to stay again!

We had a great stay at the Kauai Condo. Beautiful view from the balcony. Only no sunset views. 😢 Portable AC in the living area and bedroom do help, as Kauai is very humid. Great location to get to places easily. Great communication with owners and property manager. One thing to know in advance, there is NO elevator. Be prepared to carry your items up stairs.

it was as advertised---very clean and well-furnished. The site is convenient to most of the island. The host was extremely responsive and helpful. We would definitely stay there again.

We had a lovely vacation and the condo had everything we needed and then some. It was comfortable and clean and easy to come and go on various outings using the beach gear. The owners were helpful and responsive, although we had no problems that we needed to reach out about.
