We enjoyed the condo at Pono Kai. Helpful staff, nice amenities like tennis, pool and hot tub. We cook a lot so it was nice to have a kitchen. Not a ton of dishes and accessories, but enough to cook several meals. Overall - a very nice place for the money.
Started out BAD, as our room AC was not working. Rhey brought us a potable AC, then mived us to an upgraded room with a ocean view. After that everything was geeat.
This VRBO was perfect from my girlfriend and I. We felt right at home being able to cook, watch movies and hang by the pool when we wanted. It’s also in a very central area with lots to do in a walking distance. We enjoyed this place very much and will def look to stay here again.

We have stayed at Pono Kai for over 15 years and always love it. Normally we have the kids with us and get a 2 bedroom. This time we didn’t take the kids, so we rented the 1 bedroom with Murphy bed in the parlor. To say we were pleased is an understatement. The condo was spacious, clean and the air conditioner worked great. Russ our host was INCREDIBLE with communication and we extended our stay there as we loved it that much. It is hard having family come visit for dinner as the resort itself only always registered guests in the pool area so be aware of that rule. Recommend this condo 100%
Pono Kai is a great location on Kauai. Lots of things to do close to where you are. We stayed 7 days and didn't use a full tank of gas. Yet we were doing something everyday! The lighthouse at kileaua, bike path, Smith family luau, Capt Andy's star BBQ coastline Cruise, Wailau kayak adventure, and one day enjoying the facilities @ Pono Kai & Beach! Love every minute celebrating my wife's birthday week! Mahalo!

This was the perfect property for me and my daughter (11) for a few days before being joined by my partner! Awesome amenities available, close to the bike path, and walking distance to downtown kapaa. Will definitely book again!

Nice property, clean, family oriented and close to the beach. Central on the island, easy to see the various attractions. Amenities on site and close by. Nice staff at the resort.
All the basics well covered. Enjoyed being able to walk to the town in 3-5 minutes. While we did not have a oceanfront view access to the ocean was excellent.
Everything about this place was perfect- location, amenities, cleanliness, etc. It was a great place, will be back. Very well kept property and kind staff.
First time to Kauai- this was a wonderful place to stay , right near ocean, lots of things to do and very well equipped condo 👍👍
Our stay was very relaxing. The condo was close to both the pool and the beach. The community BBQ was just outside our door, which was convenient. We would stay here again.
The property was beautiful and very conveniently located. The multiple Kauai alarm clocks were helpful to keep us on track.
